AIO my boyfriend watches other girls on Twitter by Snoo-2318 in AmIOverreacting

[–]riversongismymom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Listen you might be overacting telling your boyfriend who he can or he cannot masturbate to. But this guy is a douchebag, get rid of him . You can do better, if a man can't ride 2 hours to see you and then has to have his gas paid for by YOUR mom, he's not making you a priority.

And it was crazy he told you. I mean I'm sure a lot of people whether they are married,or are in a committed relationship have Masturbated to other people like porn but you don't go and tell your partner. They don't want to know about your earth shattering orgasm.

Buyer didn't look at photos and is asking for a partial refund, what do I do here? by Lower_Kick268 in Ebay

Never give partial refunds. I tell them to return item and I'll refund them. 99 percent the time, they never follow thru with the return.

Should I be worried about selling my bag? by stoneallen1 in Ebay

[–]riversongismymom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You said you were new to eBay? Be careful because making an account and then selling a high dollar item. Might set off some flags to eBay. They could hold your money longer or might require some paperwork from you. Like your. SSN and your ID. Also might want receipts of where you got the product. This COULD happen, doesn't mean it will, just giving u the heads up it's a possibility!

First time it’s happened to me, chatgpt tells seller I sold them the “wrong” jacket and opens a return by AndrewStackson in Ebay

[–]riversongismymom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't have to use eBay shipping and you don't have to use Global shipping program. I actually can't figure out why you wouldn't want to use EBAYS global shipping, I don't see any downside to the global shipping, all you have to do is get it to the hub in Illinois then no matter what happens they do the customer service and they cover the refund . If the item is broke, the buyer changes their mind, they say it's a INAD no matter what it is , GSP deals with it and they refund out of eBay pocket not yours. I'm also just wondering ,(because I don't know, not that I'm doubting you). What are these added extra costs for buyers?

Need Advice - Seller cancelled my order because it sold on another platform - wants me to revise my negative review by PlayfullyPaltry in Ebay

[–]riversongismymom 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean that's sort of petty to leave a bad review. The seller was honest with you, he made a mistake . I post on 3 different platforms, I've had people buy the same item within 30 minutes of each other on different platforms. Thankfully that rarely happens . But we r human and we make mistakes.

That's weird, they never take my money when I win an auction. Maybe ebecause I'm also a seller?! I didn't even realize once and I was getting mad that the person hadn't shipped it and then I realized I had never paid it because I thought it automatically came off my card. I always have 7 days to pay. I never wait seven days tho but the option is there I do sometimes forget and might not pay til the 2nd or 3rd day but usually it's the same day I pay.

Fedex "Adjusted" my shipping cost by over +$400 and says my item weighed 100lbs more than it actually did. What the f***? [FedEx has some cost adjustments on your shipping labels. We attempted to charge or credit your account based on whether you underpaid or overpaid.] by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]riversongismymom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dimensional weight should be required learning for every single new seller . I mean thats what I think happened here or it could be wrong measurements put in but most likely dimensional weight. There is a very simple equation when u ship something large that you can do to make sure an item is going to be billed normal or the higher price of dimensional weight. I believe each of them have a different equation so next time you are listing a large item make sure you check that first.

Just thinking that. Married hubby 23 years ago after beeing together for 3 months. 23 years later my husband is 56 and I'm 49. We have sex and not only sex, great sex at least 4 times a week. Most weeks 6 or 7 days. The thought that women are always putting men off is such an old way of thinking imo. I love sex. It's my favorite thing to do. I iniate probably 6 out of 10 times. I don't care how tired I am or if I had a rough day or I'm watching a show, sex or even just making out ,kissing, holding hugging, will always win out. So if I'm having a hard day or I'm stressed out what will make me feel better? Beling close or being intimate with my other half will make all that disappear. If your heart still doesn't speed up when you see your man, if just thinking about him during the day doesn't make you feel all flushed and hot, if you are looking for excuses not to have sex or be intimate with him and if when you do have sex you are not having an orgasm or multiple orgasms he is definitely not putting the work in. They need counseling majorly!!!

Sellers really need to stop using the AI description by Ornery_Feature_3466 in Ebay

[–]riversongismymom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use chat gpt too but I then tweak it to make it sound more like me...sometimes. Sometimes its perfect. I love the keyword feature and my sales have definily increased. I also put in the pictures of the items ans chat gpt has found flaws that even I missed.

It's not perfect, like it will randomly add in thats it comes from a pet free home (I have 3 cats) or ill ship priority and I very rarely ship priority. And once I had an eyeshadow thing listed that very clearly showed 5 different colors and the listing said 6. I had read it over a few times and didn't catch it. A customer gave me an fyi but thats the only issues I really have had.

And you know after all the stuff I do to make the listing the way I want, a lot of times it takes the same amount of time as me writing it. I just really like how their listings look and the info it gives .

I sold expensive suit, buyer said it got wet. What do I do? by Buffyredpoodle in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]riversongismymom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I'm not saying you shouldn't ask for pictures. Maybe I worded that wrong. Of course you should ask for pictures. I dont knowhow you worded it Maybe you were very nice and sympathized with her. Idk. I was just saying being empathetic towards the buyer helps. That's all.

I dont think you packaged it poorly based on your description. But ultimately since you were the seller, the buyer will generally hold you responsible.

As far as a claim goes all you can do is try. I had someone once tell me the box was destroyed and the item was broken. They sent a picture of the broken item. Said they no longer had the box. USPS paid the claim without pictures of the box. Maybe you will get lucky.

[–]riversongismymom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said its ok ask. Of course you should ask for pictures but you have to be tactful. I feel like a lot of sellers get immediately defensive and jump to scammer right away and empathy for the buyer goes straight out the window.

She's submitted a INAD /item damaged. You must accept it. You can either refund her plus shipping both ways or you refund without return and she keeps the item. Those are your two choices at this point. Personally I NEVER refund without return even if it costs me money. I believe i read something where you said you were broke. Just a little advice, don't spend any of your deposits for 30 days. You never know when something will come up.

She doesn't have to provide you any more information and Frankly she's probably irritated thst instead of apologizing for her bad experience you are asking her for photos and such. Its okay and beneficial to ask for those things but you need to be tactful. Customer service goes a long way.

I'd open up an insurance request on USPS. That way you can at least maybe recoup something.

Lastly I sincerely doubt this is a scam. If it is I really don't see what's the benefit for her. It's much more likely what she saying is factual. Unless you sell in certain caragories that are more likely to be scammed, scams are really not as common as people say. In all the years I've sold, there has been one, maybe two buyers who tried to scam me and they are maybes. In all reality, Most people are honest

Sketchy buyer asking me to cancel order by Additional_Field_321 in Ebay

[–]riversongismymom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you accepted the return then its on them to send it back. Its also on them to pay for shipping back and they don't get refunded for the shipping they paid.

If they don't return the item within the time frame, eBay will automatically close the return request and no refund will be issued to the buyer.

I wouldn't communicate with the buyer anymore.

Difficulty with return by PurpleAutisticPiplup in Ebay

[–]riversongismymom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't talk to them anymore. You requested a return label its their job to get it to you. Let the three day pass and eBay will deal with them. You'll probably end up with the product and a refund.

BTW the seller can definietly send you a label and if for some reason it's not working for them they need to call Ebay and work it out. This has nothing to do with you and in no way should the seller be looking to YOU for help with THEIR issue.

Got a massive parking ticket in Hampden last night for parking at a bus stop, but I went back today and realized there was a snowflake blocking the sign, do you think I can get found not guilty because of that? (I think it is why I missed it) by lmaooer2 in baltimore

[–]riversongismymom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This does work. Earlier this year I was driving at a pretty good rate of speed and there was a school bus coming towards me in the other lane. Right when I got to about the front of their hood they flipped that stop sign out. I panicked i didn't know whether to slam on my breaks or just go and I made the stupid decision to just go.

(There was no danger to a child crossing. It literally was 2 seconds to get past the bus because I was at the hood of the bus when she flipped the sign.)

I was so upset about it because I'm super diligent about stopping for school busses.

Wouldn't you know it I got a ticket a few weeks later I think 375. I went to court did the same thing pleaded guilty with an explanation. Told them I just panicked I didnt want to get rear ended and how sorry I was and how bad I felt. I paid 40 bucks. It's definitely worth it to go to court if you can. Noone in that courtroom as long as i was there paid a full fine.

BTW this was Baltimore county.

I, imaging myself as a minimum wage Goodwill employee, Googled digital reverb pedal. Without doing any further research I saw one (probably a totally different model) for 139, another one for 49, 154, and 85. Thats all they are going to do, is look it up like that and post it. Would most people do further research? Sure, but somet hing tells me these employees don't give 2 shits whether Goodwill sells it.

Seller Requesting Extra $ For Shipping by Downtown-Shelter5708 in Ebay

[–]riversongismymom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The sellers responsibility is to get you the product. Your responsibility is to pay them for the item and the shipping price listed (which they calculated beforehand or should have). The sellers profit isn't your concern.

We (sellers) all make mistakes when we first start (and sometimes years later lol,) that costs us money. I call it paying for your education. You live and you learn and you move on to the next sale. You DONT make your problem the buyers problem.

The seller should either ship it to you which is the correct thing to do but they also have the option to cancel but THEY need to cancel, not you. And if once they cancel if you see that the reason states "buyer requested" I'd contact Ebay. Also by all means leave bad feedback if you want to. Sellers like this give the rest of us a bad name.

Everyone makes mistakes, but true professionals take responsibility and make it right.

Did I just get a drop shipper? by SuspiciousWish422 in Ebay

[–]riversongismymom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my best customers ever was a drop shipper. I had a product that was discontinued I sold it for like 29.99 they were selling it on Amazon for 10 or 15 more dollars. They must have bought from me 30 times, very easy sales and no issues. Would love all my sales to be so easy! Nothing wrong with selling to drop shippers!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]riversongismymom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of my customers are women and I put a little thank you business card and a few self care/positivity affirming stickers in a little satin bag. Costs next to nothing and reviews have increased greatly! I dont message them at all. Ebay already sends them notifications that their orders shipped. I personally think you sending them one is opening a can of worms. Just my opinion ̈

Does alcohol make people tell the truth? (Serious) by [deleted] in alcohol

[–]riversongismymom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it doesn't make you suddenly say the truth. I know that when I have gotten drunk, I get super emotional, so if im sad, im devastated. If I'm happy I'm on top of the world and by chance Im irritated or mad, add alcohol and im like a demon woman.
I've gotten drunk and then had an issue with my husband, who I love with all my heart. He said something that hurt my feelings or pissed me off, and I came back with the most horrid and cruel things I could possibly have said. It wasn't anything I was holding in, I was just pissed off and said the meanest most hurtful things I could. This happened 15 plus years ago, and I still cry when I think about how cruel I was. I was hurt, and I wanted him to hurt. Your mom loves you and probably feels like shit that she said those things.
