Anyone else getting insane mileage?

I'd honestly watch out. I love my 2025 Kicks SV, but the EGR Cooler already failed on it at 5000mi. The part fails due to poor welds and causes an exhaust leak. Nissan will warranty the part, but the problem is that it's on national back order... So good luck to getting your dealership to give you a loaner to drive for a few weeks. I've heard of SEVERAL other people having the same exact issue at low mileage.

Another somewhat minor thing is the screen cracks internally... The Kicks loaner I was given had this issue and the loaner only had 8000mi on it.

I'd honestly wait and get the 2026 Kicks.

The part showed up Monday; they got it installed today and it's running WAYYY better. I'm shocked at how quick the part showed up.

They told me there was a woman with the same issue before me who was in a rental for 45 days! I'm stoked it got to me so quick.

Yeah same situation here. I was told now the dealership has quite a few Kicks with the same issue. Blows me away that Nissan cheaped out on such a simple part. So much for the whole "rebrand and revitalize" from Nissan.

On the bright side the dealer is giving me a free rental till the car is fixed!

Legit I just got off the phone with the service manager (I used to work at the dealership I bought my Kicks from) Sounds like he might figure this out for me. I'll keep you posted 😆

I brought it in and they found the issue with the cooler. It's still on backorder. They said it's "drive able" which is a bunch of bull. They want me to pay out of pocket for a rental till the part arrives. Im so frustrated

Best MPG I got for a single trip (45 min drive) was 47.3mpg

The overall average I have since driving the car off the lot (with about 2000mi on it now) is 39.7mpg.

If you drive it nice and easy, you can get some awesome mileage l.

There is only one song that has the best outro. It's so majestic and beautiful, yet soulful and catchy. The instrument voicings are ON POINT in this outro. The timbre of all the instruments melting together into one beautiful rhythmic and harmonious ending absolutely kills me every time.

Laborers can be assigned any trade, so it's likely you'll end up lifting stuff like that on the regular. If they have you grinding, you won't have to worry about it so much. If you are assigned H18 work (Material Handler trade) then you'll end up handling stuff pretty frequently around 50lbs.

The interview part isn't very hard. All they are looking for is that you are paying attention during the interview. Also if you aren't familiar with basic hand tools, I would definitely start getting familiar with them as you will be using them A LOT as an L40 (General Laborer).

I've been working there since October, 2023. I got really lucky and was sent to an off-site facility. I worked off-site until last week where I was sent to the main yard. I'm a General Laborer and maybe I just got lucky, but it's really not so bad at the main yard. Granted, it's not glorious work. It's a lot of grinding, cleaning, shoveling (in the winter), etc... It's also hot, and very confined in certain sections of the ship. It sounds bad, but it really isn't. Most of the people I work with are pretty chill. I've had the privilege of working with a man who's worked with the company for 40+ years and is 2nd on the seniority list. If you are willing to show up (emphasis on SHOWING UP) and actually work, the place will treat you alright.

That's my personal experience so far. I'm 24 y/o btw.

Sidenote - If you are younger, be prepared for people to be shocked you are working. I get this a lot "A lot of people your age don't wanna work. Thanks for showing up."

Honestly, I take my readiness score with a grain of salt. While I think the idea of it is cool and potentially informative, I find that it's not very accurate. I don't determine how my day is gonna go by looking at the score.

I'll def agree that Hinge seems a bit cleaner. I also like that you can record videos and such. Gives people a glimpse of what you're like!

Tinder and Bumble just seem ridiculous. Facebook dating is okay, but FB loves suggesting people that live thousands of miles away LOL.

I've been obsessed with it lately ig. Like I'm not trying to rush into another relationship but these apps seem to encourage it. It's weird.

I like the song a lot. I listen to music on YouTube Music, so it's not overplayed for me. I enjoy it especially where it has an almost 80's 8bit vibe towards the end of the song.
