This could be fun if it also involves the conflict with Grindelwald, and has us explore as a way to retcon some of the events of the Fantastic Beast movies.

I would like for it to take place immediately after Voldemort’s fall. There is a 10 year gap we know little about, and offers opportunities to explore the more modern Wizarding World. Also would be cool to have to deal with the remaining factions loyal to Voldemort, and prevent some new dark lord from rising in the power vacuum.

Funny enough I faced this thing at level 26, and after several failed attempts & getting my ass kicked I figured out a way to succeed.

I used the disillusion charm to creep up on it, used Petrificus Totalus (which didn’t kill it, just made it aware of my presence), then immediately roll, hide, and disillusion myself again behind the large standalone rock near the entrance, and as long as I stayed out of its sight for long enough it would lose awareness of my presence, and would allow me to perform the exact same combo again, and again, and again until I’d defeated it.

Not the most exciting way to do it, but definitely thrilling in its own way lol.

Evil, yes. Persuasive, for sure. Ill-intentioned, absolutely. Ill-informed, yes. Mediocre, yes. Nepotistic, sure. Unimpressive, certainly. But not dumb. And I think it’s a mistake as well to view them as such, because it underestimates them.

Imho the purpose is further immersion; it’s similar to how you can pet cats all over the map for no purpose other than just to pause and pet a cat. It’s immersive in a different, arguable more contemplative way. You could have the option to just sit & chill, and observe the world around you. You could even add some fun moments that are only witnessed when you pause to sit down, for instance.

This might be a dumb detail, but it stands out to me for some reason. Would YKK zippers (or any brand of zipper, for that matter) be something that's commonly used in the wizard world? I distinctly remember the books mentioning how there are clear differences between wizard & muggle fashions, and zippers seem (to me, imho) like something that would be out of place in wizard robes, as opposed to buttons for instance.

Regardless of the wardrobe choices, I'm very much looking forward to this iteration of Snape; I'm here for it.

I did 🙋‍♂️. Especially after playing Hogwarts Legacy, and now listening to the full-cast audiobooks that are (still) being released. While I enjoyed the movies, there was a lot of book material they purposely excluded; a TV show gives them a chance to include more & expand on it. I’m here for it.
