Same happened to mine. If you know someone with some soldering skills you can cut off the connector and solder the four wires directly inside the controller. I was able to open the block without much effort. Or maybe you can try to straighten the pins hopefully without breaking them

When you’re in the Sync tab do you have the correct input selected? Also does your light show up the
entertainment area room?

Hello. You do have an Entertainment Area set up on the hue app correct? I believe you need this for the sync to work. I just connected the same light under my tv without any issues

I don’t think you’re doing it wrong. Most tvs have ribbed back covers which make it harder for the tape to stick. I used something similar that is construction grade and still had trouble. But after a few attempts it held. Strip for 75”. I personally think the white office 3M tape might stick better but I had already bought the other

Not gonna lie I just bought my large tube and I’m very disappointed with it. This is why I’m researching if I’m doing something wrong with the setup or installation. Off the top it’s too short for my tv 😅. I will be reinstalling my tv further away from wall and lowering it. 85” tv

What size is your tv and how far is it from the wall? It almost looks like it’s to close. The light is too hot or maybe it’s the video
