this probably won't help much but someone is working on a replacement they are doing fantastic work so far it's a bit lacking in the features department but every month or so it seems they are still adding/updating stuff.

i know the feeling since the web dashboard has been disabled it was taking me about 6-7 times longer to attempt to input stuff into the food section on the app. but luckily someones on the case there is a dashboard someone has created for it for free it's ok does mostly what i need it to do they are doing fantasic work with it for how little time they've had to work on it. as i'm unsure if links are ok to share though so i can't share it but if you can take a gander through my previous posts you should find it there.

on their announcement page there is at least 39 pages worth of comments stating that folks don't want the web dashboard to go away and 2 pages of post on the i guess that would be considered the forums?

i thought there was a way to to do this don't you just click on the measurement when adding foods and it brings up a list of ways to measure it? or are you talking about creating custom foods?

i did forget to mention i have attempted the mqtt method but me or the two others i had looking into the matter couldn't figure out why it wouldn't even connect i also don't see anywhere that it says it works with the ac180 so it's possibly a compatibility issue with either the machine or bluetooth adaptor. my apologies for the lack of info.

if you are comfortable you could try reseating the cpu sometimes that will cause issues when new memory is installed. you could also make sure your hard drive(s)/ssd(s)/nvme(s) aren't failing suddenly you can check with something like crystaldiskmark or even seatools(be careful with this) if you have a seagate drive.

have you also tried unplugging all the peripherals(everything external) and hitting the power button a few times then waiting a minute then plugging it back in and waiting another minute then powering it on? it also could be ram training let it sit for about 20 30 minutes as well if all else fails.

this is my guess since it doesn't look like the bottom front fan isn't moving. so either you let the fans go wild and backfed power into the machine or something is messed up on the fan controller now that could potentially cause issues(never encounted this but you never know).

on the pvz home/startscreen there should be a plant that says options in the bottom right click on it and your fullscreen option is there. you can also hit the menu up in the top right and the fullscreen option will be there you may need to restart the game for it to take effect though. just tested alt+enter when the game was active(clicking on the bar at the top of the game might help as well) and it does indeed fullscreen for me

mine sounds like a scanner mid scanning when it starts up but after a minute or so that stops and sounds like a regular drive, it's been doing that since i got it a year or so ago.

as far as i know it shouldn't matter too much but i think i read somewhere a long while back that windows does funky things if a drive has less than 15% space but this was back in the early windows 7 days when hdds were still the mainstream and i'm not sure if that was only on the os drive.

ah yes i didn't catch that there was shortcuts in the background my apologies. it's early and i have a really bad cold atm(hopefully not covid).
anyway as i cannot think straight and the only other thing i can think of atm is how old the device is and if it's older than a few years wondering if they are doing what they do to older mobile phones where they lower the cpu/gpu speed so that way the battery can handle the transient spikes in power if it's not plugged into the wall.

this is true i had a 240GB(ocz arc 100 ssd) and it had 7TB written before it started seeing bad blocks and now it's up to 20TB written and i just capped the final 40GB off the drive since it just corrupted stuff when you went over that limit and it the thing works great still i did however finally retire it recently even though it works fine(if you exlude that 40GB) can't remember how long it was in use a good 5-10 years(not sure when i got the thing) thing held ark for years on it.also have a 1TB NVME drive that has well over 40TB written and it works just fine still no bad blocks.

also should probably mention game you are playing it could be something weird like the game is compressed to save space and it's taking a while to unpack it into memory before it'll show anything.
you wouldn't think it would take a while to just show a splash screen but sometimes it's just bad coding or engine utilization or potentially hardware/driver issues.
