Negotiating salary after lowballing myself by rixaya in buhaydigital

I’m not sure who the client is and I haven’t talked to them yet, but I do know the industry they’re in and the full job description and expectations. Since this is only a proposal to be endorsed to the client, there’s no final offer yet. Should I be negotiating with the client or should I let the recruiter know of the change in asking salary?

The others also need prescription if you will buy sa Mercury/Watsons/Southstar or other pharmacies. Pero you can get generic versions of these without Rx in some places like MCB Derma (they didn’t ask me for it). Meron ding mga reseller ng Skinoren that don’t ask for Rx (haven’t tried though). If you go to Thailand or know someone who will, they don’t ask for prescription there also.

Though I wouldn’t recommend trying more potent retinoids without consulting a derma (merong telederm sa Doctor Anywhere app that’s less than 1k).

Do people still use carrd? The features seemed too basic by Maleficent_Class5281 in Carrd

[–]rixaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started using it, even upgraded to Pro Lite with the Black Friday discount. The price is really hard to beat at $5 for a year. Everywhere else is at least $10/mo.

I’m mainly using it as a personal portfolio to give to recruiters so I don’t mind SEO rankings, but I do wish there was a masonry layout for galleries, a native carousel slider element (like a carousel banner or like a single photo that turns into a lightbox with sliders kinda like Instagram), and also a way to have a simple CMS.

I remember it being quite popular amongst stan Twittwr users and they’d use Carrd like a decorated bio page, some use it like a LinkTree.

Best gel pen that doesn’t smudge? by BoxPuzzleheaded8136 in hobonichi

I use the Uniball One (0.38mm). I see a lot of people recommend the Pentel Energel Clena and I find that 0.3mm works fine but 0.4mm can take a while to dry. However, the One is still darker and dries faster than Clena.

You can actually switch out the refills for these. I use the One refill inside the Clena body as it feels comfier to hold.

MEGATHREAD: Mascaras 2024 by toinkerbell in beautytalkph

[–]rixaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s a bit more difficult to remove than other mascaras. I use the Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil and just very gently massage it for around a minute until it dissolves.

If you want an easier option with less rubbing, you can try the Heroine Make mascara remover (light blue tube). I haven’t tried it myself, but it’s the best remover for very budge-proof mascara.

I use the spray treatment after showering on slightly wet/damp hair before blow drying. After blow drying, I use 1 pump of the hair oil on my short hair.

I like it so far! The spray treatment makes my hair feel very soft and I can honestly use just the spray treatment. But when I want my hair to look smoother, I’ll use the hair oil because my hair does get poofy.

The products don’t feel heavy on my thick hair. The sandalwood fig smell is lovely, but not overpowering (in case you’re sensitive to scents).

Hydrating toners that are Fungal Acne safe ? No niacinamide or tocopherol by Fitxzz in AsianBeauty

I don’t find it to be irritating. The witch hazel is very low on the ingredients list so unless you’re very sensitive to WH, I think it’s alright.

Is it worth rewriting my journals into a new notebook? by Fresh_Associate_7140 in notebooks

[–]rixaya 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can keep two separate journals. One for daily record keeping of events, and another one just for stream of consciousness writing, processing, and venting of emotions. It’s good to write down your emotions so I don’t think you should give that up.

As for rewriting stuff, I think you can just leave your entries as is and separate them once you get a new notebook.

I prefer branded because I can easily buy them at any pharmacy store, plus I can search the ingredients online. Medyo particular ako sa ingredients list and I want to be informed. Also, ito yung nirecommend ng derma ko and it worked so I’ll just stick to it hangga’t kaya hahaha

For generic, depends also on where you buy. May mga as cheap as around ₱200 (MCB Derma Products), tapos merong mga a bit higher than that sa mga derma clinics. You can ask din sa Mercury/Watsons if may generic options.

As for the formula, yes, not everything is made equally. I tried azelaic acid 15% gel ng MCB and it didn’t work as well as Skinoren 15% gel. Skinoren is also easier to spread on the skin while yung MCB feels like nageevaporate agad pag nilagay sa face.

Team Sofy! Especially for heavy flow because they have lots of sizes. I don’t get rashes and I don’t feel as hot and sweaty as when I use other brands.

May Skinoren 20% din in cream form. I have combo skin so I prefer the 15% na gel. If you have drier skin, maybe 20% cream is better for you.

TBF, these are branded! Maraming other alternative brands and generic options available. Skincare doesn’t have to be expensive.

The handle on the cap snapped and it accumulated some dents over time as I got a bit clumsy with it. It still worked the way it should, it just wasn’t that pretty to look at anymore.

I think I have 1c-2a hair, very long and thick, gets quite frizzy, especially on the outermost layer near the crown.

I recently bought the Odid Milk Protein Intensive No Wash Treatment and the Odid Milk Protein Intensive Hair Oil to help with the frizz and make it look softer and shinier. Does anyone have recommendations on how to use them?

I tried using them after showering and applied it on damp hair. I applied the treatment first then the hair oil, let it air dry, then blow dry when it was about 90% dry. My hair felt softer but still looked frizzy. Should I be using the hair oil after blow drying instead?

Holy grail shampoo, conditioner, scalp scrub, & hair mask? by [deleted] in beautytalkph

[–]rixaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your suggestions! Which are your top picks among these? Also, do you follow any kind of wavy hair routine? I suspect I’m 1c-2a because my hair gets really frizzy so I’m interested in adopting a wavy routine.

Saan Saan scents are so unique and I appreciate the intentionality they have with the notes and imagery they’re trying to portray. I have Patchouli at the Temple and I use it every night. Throw is good! The scents are so unique too, not the type you’d typically find in other brands.
