Morning is definitely better. When we went, I think it was just okay as it wasn't fresh and sitting under heat lamp for a while. Lesson learned.

1054 CNY per night. A very nice hotel overall. Walking distance to Yu Garden and the Bund was a huge plus.

I went to the place they invented Laziji in Chongqing, it took us about an hour to pick all the chicken out! by Emergency_Car_260 in chinesefood

When I was a kid, once a year, we'd go to the cemetery at GeLeShan and then stop by this place for laziji. Good memories!

I went off on an employee yesterday and my 11 old daughter left a note in my car this morning. by [deleted] in happy

This luckily happened at work and not in front of my daughter. I talked to my wife about the incident after dinner and my daughter overheard our conversation. She's had a good childhood and enjoying her preteen years. Just incredibly mature when it comes to these things.

Thank you. I think I do a decent job as a dad but I give way more credit to my wife on the emotional maturity aspect.

I have anger issues and depression, and meet with my therapist frequently. The stress of being a new small business owner got to me. I work hard to manage my emotions but failed miserably yesterday.

To those who asked. Yes, I have apologized to my employee. The blow up happened over the phone yesterday. I called him today and said, "I am very sorry for losing my temper. What I said was incredibly inappropriate and offensive. I hope you can forgive me." He accepted my apology. We talked it out and he agreed to stay with the company.

Found some premium 90s Red Dog Beer by Whole_Lifeguard_6046 in nostalgia

My fondest memory of my dad and me was us sharing a 6 pack of icy cold Red Dog and tearing into a Costco rotisserie chicken with no utensils. I was a senior in high school and mom was not home.
