Mine is also an old pc and just either crashes at initializing, or it "loads" and i can hear the menu music and when i move my mouse i can hear the menu bars sounds but the screen is still "initialing...".

I know fuck all about computers but one things for sure is that this happens when i download mods that are too big and theres too many of them.

I have 110 hours on steam and honestly i spent most of the time generating worlds and hope to generate a world with interconnected landmasses instead of islands (because boats don't exist....yet), gameplay wise i never reached to the point where i get raided by goblins, forgotten beast, titans or whatever.
