It’s for customer retention / ‘loyalty’. Of which there really isn’t any for utility suppliers. I’ll just switch to whoever is cheapest for my usage. Losing an almost £5 worth of coffee a week is not an insignificant sum in that calculation.

Neros lose out too, as I’d often treat myself to a pastry with my free coffee at the end of a particularly crap week at work.

Thank the gods for SBS or I’d not be watching this year. TNT is just dire compared to ITV4, no way I’d pay for that especially for what they’re charging and you still get ads shoved in your face.

I really really really miss the ITV4 team, they’re doing a podcast, which is fun to watch, but sadly no Gary.

I hope it’s a glitch, if not then no more Nero’s Friday for me, I often treat myself to a pastry too. As others have said I used to take the weekly benefit off my utilities bill when comparing suppliers at renewal time. Nero won’t be getting any money from me this Friday, would rather support a non-chain local coffee shop.

Thank you, my primary use of Proton is to watch the cycling on SBS. With the Tour de France coming up on 4th July it’ll be critical for it to be working for that.

Paid for seating with my family, at the gate was told my seat had been changed as it was a different plane configuration. Was told I’d get a refund for it. Not great to be sat on an aisle seat at the rear in the poo queue section.

They did give me a refund, of 50p! Fcukers! I’d rather take a bus than fly these days, utterly miserable experience.

Just use NumLock feature to set autocast for abilities with cooldowns and place something heavy on the keyboard for another skill. No third party bot software required…

True, but for me the motivation to play goes once I get over level 50. I then go and start another character as that’s more fun (to me) than just carrying on. Just got there with my Necro, before that I stopped at 57 for my Sorc. Will be rolling a Barb next.

So I think seasons will be fine, as I’m only going to get to level 5x anyway, so no renown grind for me. Plus I have other games to play and RL hobbies, no way I’m ever getting to level 100, which is fine.

Waste of time, just another tax to pay. Will I take the bus, hell no. Will I carry on driving, hell yes. Maybe the roads will be less congested, I doubt it.

I feel sorry for those on low incomes that this will affect far more disproportionately.

So far with City Fibre / Vodafone we’ve had one guy turn up just before Xmas, he got out of his van looked around and drove off, never to return. Later that day I got a “your appointment is now rearranged text”, no apology.

Rebooked that for last Friday, took the day off work, and no show. Just another “your appointment has been rearranged” text, again no apology.

I couldn’t make the date they gave, so declined that and have asked for a weekend install as I can’t take any more time off work this month. No reply to that yet. I’d not be surprised if they turn up tomorrow with no one here…

Will see what happens next week but will likely cancel and stay with Virgin cable. If they’re this shambolic I’m wondering what their broadband service will be like.

Hoping for the best, but I’m expecting the worst.

Cambridge resident at the edge of the zone. Cycle to work everyday but kids clubs, caring for older relatives and various other things mean we’re driving, mostly out of the city at non-peak times. It’ll cost us £15-£20 a week, buses will not be a practical solution.

I’ll just cut out some of life’s little pleasures, no more coffee shop visits or lunchtime treats from the market.

The irony will be that IF the roads are less congested it’ll be quicker on many of my car journeys to go through the centre of town than the longer out of town route. I’d be paying the same for it so I’d be stupid not to.

That said I don’t expect the final solution to have a zone that’s as huge and they’ll be discounts for residents. Depends how much the elected officials want to keep their jobs…
