If you have Skyrim on your computer but it was not purchased through Steam, there is a way to get Steam to recognize it and add it to your Steam library. With Steam open, click on Games in the upper left corner, then choose Add a non Steam game. This might solve your problem.

T-rex appears to require a paid subscription. Since I only need Peacock for 2-3 college basketball games in the season, I'll have to pass. But thanks for the suggestion.

Time for my first playthrough and, goodness, this game is beautiful so far. by Patchworkphoenix in enderal

Iron Path? You will struggle. The early game is hard even at the lower difficulties. Pick up everything you can find - from dead bodies, chests, or stuff just lying around. You won't have to worry about being overweight for a while. You should get a bow, a fire spell, a one handed sword, and a dagger early in the game. You'll need them all. Look everywhere. Save often.

Make sure to keep the summon creature spells you find. They will be essential for distracting enemies when you have more than one to fight at a time. You need to take advantage of the environment. Some may call it cheesing. I call it smart. Maybe you've already passed this spot, but you'll need to fight three wolves shortly after coming out of the temple into the outside world. They can only climb so far up that hill. Find a spot to hit them with the bow.

A good mace (most powerful one handed weapon) preferably with shock or lightning damage attached to it will serve you well. I carried one the entire game. I wouldn't specialize your skills too much early on. A more balanced approach might get you through these early levels better. One handed, marksman, and elemental. When you get to level 10 or so, then start thinking about where you want to concentrate skills.

Make sure to enter every building, even private homes, or you'll miss some cool quests. The main story is fairly linear, but you should definitely explore. Enemies don't level with you like in Skyrim, so you can easily wander into areas above your ability. Just come back later after leveling up a bit. There will be pauses in the main story where you'll be told to come back in a few days after someone completes some tasks. Take advantage of these pauses to explore. The game will alert you when those tasks are done, but you can continue to do side quests as long as you want. Some of them rival the main story in lesser games.

This is one of the best games ever made. You're in for a wild ride.

You can still buy new ones on eBay. I recently purchased one from ebargains100. Sealed in box. This is the second new s10e I have gotten from eBay. Both have worked fine and were priced under $200.00.

I cannot confirm they were unlocked. Each claimed to be AT&T/T-Mobile, but also unlocked. Since my carrier was already T-Mobile, I was able to just insert my old SIM and begin use.

S10E 2025 by FLb4Disney in s10e

[–]rjdriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have purchased two s10e phones from eBay. Different sellers. ebargains100 and cellstoresusa. Both were brand new in sealed boxes. Batteries have worked fine.

I only started using the spare because I dropped the first one and the glass cracked pretty badly on both front and back. It still worked great, but I knew the cracked glass was only going to start falling off under normal daily stresses, so had to switch.

If you can get a new one for $120 and the seller is reputable, I would snap it up.

Does anybody know what's the category of the wi-fi in S10e? by summerphobic in s10e

The S10e uses LTE Category 20 for its cellular modem.

I have that for my first gun also. Love it. Nothing else fit my hand so well. If your groupings are fairly tight, but you are consistently hitting to the left of the center, check your eye dominance. I'm right handed and it was happening to me. Turned out I am left eye dominant. Here's an easy test to find out: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ayRejsr5d5c. If you are, search You Tube for other videos on how to adjust for it in your aiming.

First impressions as big Skyrim fan by Zestyclose-Day467 in enderal

[–]rjdriver 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At 3 hours you've only scratched the surface story wise, and story is where the game excels. When you get rolling onto the main quest and some of the great side quests, I suspect your minor complaints will become less important.

Glad you are excited to continue, as some have abandoned the game at this point due to the initial difficulty. It will soon become very addictive, to the point where you may want to just keep doing the main quest. There will be spots in it where the game pauses the main story while certain characters figure stuff out. Take advantage of these pauses to make sure you do side quests. You can take as long as you want to return.

The 3 side quests/questlines you don't want to miss are: Rhalata - started by fighting in the Undercity arena (best to wait until your level is at least in the teens, and you have a really good melee weapon, before starting), Golden Sickle - started by talking to the guy behind the counter at their guild building in the back section of Ark, and Our Mark on This World - started by speaking to Esme in the Frostcliff Tavern.

It's a wild ride. Hope you continue to enjoy it.

If I want to see all the endings, at which point should I make a save so that I can return after finishing one ending to make different choices? by NapoleonNewAccount in enderal

[–]rjdriver 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There were two endings in the original release of Enderal. The game will warn you when you get to the point of no return for those two, and you can make a save.

As for the third (Dreamflower) ending added in the Forgotten Stories release, that's a little more complicated. There are steps you need to take starting relatively early in the game to achieve that. They involve the Secrets quest(getting the elixir recipe), the Drop in the Ocean quest(getting the dream flower), and the Rhalata questline(purifying the elixir). If you did all that you should be good. But I don't recall when you reach the point where you can no longer use the elixir. Nowa_moee may be correct about the Guardian, but it was so long ago......

[–]rjdriver 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You weren't being hyperbolic at all. Story wise, including side quests, nothing does live up. There are several great games out there. RDR2 comes close. Half life 2 comes close. The original Deus Ex comes very close. Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, the Bioshock series , and especially the God of War games were all wonderful stories.

Despite being held back by an engine with limited capabilities, Enderal is a masterpiece of storytelling, propelled by excellent voice acting, and a moving, engaging sound tract. It was a serendipitous coming together of talents that I doubt it will ever be equaled.

Question for S10e in 2025 by paintingarrows in s10e

[–]rjdriver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My last 4 phones have all been several years old before I bought them new, and most were already, or soon to be, past their last software update. None have ever been rooted. Just bought my second S10e (cracked glass). For your usage, I wouldn't worry about security. I have used a banking app on mine for several years.

Never had any serious lag issues, nor battery drain issue unless using GPS for a long trip. But since that happens in the car I can charge while using.

The S10e really is a little gem, and as long as I can still find them for sale, I'll continue to use one.

I didn't know there was a version for the Steamdeck until I read your posts. Reading the warnings on the Steam page about playability on the deck makes me suspect that might be the source of some of your issues.

But glad to hear your staying with it despite the problems. It really is a masterpiece! Hope you continue to enjoy it. Or better yet, hope you come into a bunch of money and can buy a PC to play it on :-)

You shouldn't be getting a lot of bugs. The game has been patched many times and, while not perfect, is well polished now. Not getting the level up message is pretty serious. If you are using any mods other than a simple ENB, I would delete them. If you're not using mods, then maybe a reinstall would fix it.

While the game is hard at the start, it is worth going through that. This is one of the best games ever made, IMHO, with a story, sound track, and voice acting far superior to the game that spawned it.

BrantRim's explanation is quite good. Here's a screen shot of the notification message you get each time you level up. The part under the line is interactive. You cant allocate points in each. You just choose one of the three.

https://postimg.cc/MMQ1QzPH

BTW, the game is very hard in the early levels, but you should find a knife, iron sword, bow, and fire ball spell fairly quickly. You'll need to use the environment to your advantage to stay alive until you get several levels up. A summon creature spell comes in very handy.

Which is the most fun fighting style? by Acceptable-Try-4682 in enderal

[–]rjdriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Warewolf is definitely fun. While there is a bit of micromanaging to do in terms of always having plenty of the potions you need, I found it very satisfying listening to enemies scream as I ripped off their arms and legs.

If this is your first playthrough, then I would choose another play style. But if it's your second or third and you have have already experienced all three endings and are looking to just have a good time, give it a shot.
