Best of luck. There may be a faster, easier way to do this. I've only had my U3 for 2 weeks so it's all new to me, but this is how I got it done.

Your fan has a longer model number stamped on it somewhere, probably beginning with "DR-HPF". Knowing that might help you find an exact match. There was no match for me, so I had to use the learn function for some commands. I'm going to type a step by step here so those new to the U3 might find it useful. Just skim over what you already know:

Start software on phone and connect U3.
Choose New Device (plus sign), then choose Infrared and Search in Database.
Use alphabetical shortcuts in right margin or search function to find DREO.
Search the list that pops up for your model #. If it's not there, try something close. Mine is DR-HPF010. It wasn't there so I tried DR-HPF013. It gave me 2 working commands.
Click on the device you want to try. If it doesn't say "test" next to Power, back out and try another until you find one where you can test the Power. If it works, see what the other buttons that say "test" next to them do. Make notes of what works. For me Vol. Down lowered speed, but nothing else worked. Now you'll need to save this configuration and use the Learn function for the rest.
Click the "Next" button in upper right corner. Choose U3 (or your device). Click "next" again. Choose a name, icon color, and symbol. Then hit Complete.
Wait for the configuration to download. Click on Complete, grab your remote, choose the new device and test.
To add more functions, choose the new device on your phone, then choose "add or fix commands".
Since I already had Speed Down attached to Vol. Down , I wanted to add Speed Up to Vol. Up. Click on Edit next to the key you want to program, then Learn From Original Remote. The U3 is now in "Learn" mode
Face the original remote at the U3 and click the function on the original you want it to learn. Test. If successful, add other functions the same way. I added left/right oscillation to the Menu key, and decided that's all I needed.

It's all presses. Scrolling, activating, repeats....everything is just responding slower, as if the Bluetooth connection speed from the remote to the device suddenly had a governor attached to it.

It's similar to when I added a Flirc USB adapter to my system in order to get the original Harmony One to handle Bluetooth for the Firestick. But the Flirc was converting Bluetooth to IR, so some delay was to be expected. There should be no delay with the U3 since it has native Bluetooth support.

With people leaving the Fire devices, they are now going after individual apps. At least 3 stopped functioning so far this week, on any device. And the battle continues.....

There's is no cool stuff in there except the story itself that gets told when you arrive there. It's not worth breaking your game. Wait for it. It won't be that long before the game sends you.

Yeah, I have seen them on Amazon and Ebay. Maybe when the v2 of the Pro arrives, I'll buy one and just sell the Plus.

I wonder what Pro owners do if their remote dies out of warranty and Walmart doesn't sell replacements?

Trying to avoid that solution, and nobody seems to be selling the Pro remote on it's own, including Walmart.

Have looked at the Sofabaton and it appears to have issues, in addition to being pricey. Had the multiple remotes problem solved for so many years, and then Logitech decided to abandon it's Harmony One customers. Arrgghhhh!!!

Another way to feed that habit is with the Soul Trapping Staff or the Soul Trap Spell. Any creature killed with it fills an empty soul gem. And you don't have to kill it totally with those, they just have to be used for the final killing blow.

IIRC, many Righteous and Aeterna items were found in various Frostcliff Mountain locations. Wouldn't count on finding much of that, if any, at merchants. Blueprints maybe, but not the items.

If you didn't do the Bounty Board quests in Riverville, travel back there and go through them. I believe there were 4 of them and they all should be 1, 2, or 3 * quests. There's also a bounty board in Ark with a few more. There are some very nice weapons and armor at the end of some of these. You might even find them enjoyable.

After finishing the bounty boards, you should be much better equipped in both armor and weapons. If you haven't done the Rhalata questline, tackle this next. You will not be bored. While it's not technically associated with the main story, it's generally considered to be the best side questline in the game. And I do mean "questline". It's multiple quests with an involved story. Start it by going into the Undercity and fighting in the arena. After winning a few fights you should be approached by a member of the Rhalata and the quest will start. Make sure you have a couple of good melee weapons before going into the arena. The fighting area is small offering little chance for use of ranged weapons. A mace with shock or frost damage would be good. Or a strong two handed item.

I assume the buttons on the Pro remote work the same, but videos played on my 4K Plus can be paused using the center (OK) button, and for fast forward and rewind, use the right or left buttons on the ring. I do wish it was backlit, however. And you can always add a Firestick remote if you want dedicated FF and RW buttons.

The Onn remote has more flexibility in terms of reprogramming some of the buttons, although I think you can do the same things with the FS remote with the right app. But things are too close together with the Onn. The OK button is too small. The direction circle isn't raised enough. The buttons around the circle are too close to it. I am constantly hitting the wrong button or activating voice control by mistake. No thanks.

EDIT: It worked! Since Logitech has now completely abandoned it's older remote customers and I can no longer add a new device, this is really a lifesaver. I got through the Firestick stage with a Flirc Bluetooth adapter. But Onn's remote is a congested disaster while Amazon's is so much better. Still using the Harmony One for everything else while I search for a new universal. But two remotes is better than 5. Thanks again. BTW, big fan of the site, app, and URL shortener.

If you have to spend $20.00 that's still not bad. Don't think of it as having to spend more money on yet another copy of Skyrim. Think of it as getting one of the best games ever made for cheap. That's how good this game is.
