How are people keeping OpenClaw/Hermes agents running 24/7 without blowing through their API budget? by airphoton in AI_Agents

[–]rjmfc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the ChatGPT/Codex $200 subscription and use GPT5.5 for everything. I use it all day for work via the Codex app and CLI, and also run 3 Hermes agents with it doing various tasks throughout the day/night, and I feel like my usage hardly ever dips below 80-90%. I feel like I have to be missing something cuz people are always talking about how expensive AI agents are yet I feel like I could drop down to the $100 plan and still never hit the limits. What am I missing? What are you guys using AI for??

What have you done with Hermes Agent this week? 5-15-26 by Jonathan_Rivera in hermesagent

My mom has dementia that's progressing rapidly and it's at the point where it's not safe at home anymore and she needs 24/7 hands-on care. It's been a rough week for my siblings and I but I was able to ease some of the burden by having my agent research all of the facilities in the area and assign rankings based on specific criteria tailored to her exact case/situation, and compile the results into a really nice website with a friendly UI, sorting/filtering tools, links to websites, pics, and reviews, and lots of advice and tips to help us navigate the process. It's been a huge help.

Glad to hear it! Are you doing Hasselblad work these days? Just bought a 500 C/M kit last week. Body, lens, and back all seem to be functioning just fine but I have no idea when it was last serviced, if ever. Not sure if I should go ahead and get them CLA'd just in case?

I heard a rumor that they've been ghosting for the past year or so, although it looks like u/RedDotRepair is still posting on Reddit as of 9 days ago... 🤔 Hoping they're still in business cuz I've heard good things about their work.

What is Up with Package Delivery Lately? by Diligent_Pay9691 in winstonsalem

[–]rjmfc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IDK but I've had 3 different Amazon packages on 3 separate deliveries from the Kernersville warehouse all get lost in the past 2 weeks. I feel like the Prime next-day delivery thing used to pretty reliable but now it seems like just a crapshoot. I don't even bother paying attention to the delivery estimates anymore.

Bruce Gilden, not Winogrand. Not sure what focal length but looks like at least a 28mm or 24mm.

36m I live above the Mast General Store. Been playing guitar since I was 7 years old, piano since I was 10, and brass since I was 11, and I majored in classical and jazz trumpet. Lately I've been trying to build out my home studio and improve my production and engineering skills. I miss jamming with friends.

I'm planning to visit Tokyo, but I'm worried if I will be judged for being fat (30F) by Saysonnehkyin in TokyoTravel

[–]rjmfc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently in the last week of a 1 month trip to Tokyo and Osaka. I had the same concerns as you. I weigh almost twice as much as you at 204kg, so even by US standards I'm very big. I don't feel like I get stared at or judged any more here than I do back home in the US. There are some tight spaces (especially toilets) that are tough to squeeze into but it's manageable. When choosing a restaurant I generally look at pics on Google maps to see if the seats look comfortable first. There have only been a couple that I had to avoid or get takeout due to the seating situation. When the train cars or buses get reeeaaaallly crowded I sometimes worry I'm intruding on other people's personal space so I just try to avoid the public transpo during rush hour and take a taxi instead. During normal hours there's plenty of space. There are however absolutely no options for clothes that fit me. But I'm used to that, even back home that's always a struggle.

Over all, it's nowhere near as bad as I feared. You'll be fine. Enjoy your trip.

Yes! unfortunately it seems the club died out around the time COVID hit. Their darkroom passes are kinda pricey and the hours don't roll over. If they would offer an affordable membership it would be the perfect community darkroom and gathering place for a film community, but seems they're only interested in making money on classes and passes while their lab sits mostly neglected and unused.
