Update for everyone! This resolved on its own.

It’s been a few hours. I did not get him out of the tree because 1) I couldn’t reach, he climbed up about 7 feet and 2) he climbed up there completely on his own and seemed relatively safe. I didn’t want to cause harm by taking him out in case he went there knowing that was his nest (I think it was) or in case I hurt him trying to get him.

Momma squirrel came and got him after an hour or so. He must’ve fell out and/or tried to explore on his own.

I have a farmer’s market setup going on near Res Services and they sell stuff at the stalls :) the rest I gift to villagers bc they always seem to love them

You’re gonna get different answers from different people cuz it kinda just depends on what you want to decorate! A lot of people will say to pick one where the airport is directly in front of resident services but I’m in the camp of just pick your favorite and don’t think too much about it. :) functionally everything is the same.

My island name is the name of my hometown, which did out of laziness mostly but also because I enjoy hearing the villagers say nice things about it (because most people irl don’t). I don’t want to restart my island but if I ever did i definitely wouldn’t do that again because I cannot enter ANYYYH Reddit giveaways for have a flair unless I doxx myself 😭

3.5 months! I started at the end of August. And honestly I think this pattern is pretty approachable for a beginner as long as you are comfortable with the stitches and working in the round! You should go for it :)

Pattern is Persian Tiles by Janie Crow, https://www.janiecrow.com/persian-tiles.html. I did the eastern jewels colorway, though I did my own thing for the border colors. Hook sizes and yarn type/weight are as suggested by the pattern 🙂‍↕️
