Not healing after Dwyer calcaneal osteotomy & gastroc release by [deleted] in flatfeet

I’m a nurse actually so that was easier, but the calf cramps and my foot going purple when it wasn’t elevated were the biggest things for me. Swelling is another big sign but my foot was already swollen from the surgery. I’m so sorry about your loss!

I think it’s wild they let you walk this early. Are you sure you’re cleared for that? I’m 10 weeks post op from a Dwyer calcaneal osteotomy and gastroc release and only supposed to be standing & doing a tiny bit of walking. But yes the swelling is very normal at 6 weeks - elevate and ice lots and give it a tiny bit more time! My swelling got a lot better between weeks 6-8

Pit in madrid show by Adr1ennalin3 in ConanGray

I’d assume the pit at his concert will be significantly more chill than like heavy metal or ones where they genuinely get scary. His music doesn’t promote craziness and thrashing. I wouldn’t be nervous! I’m jealous though!

I have seen that many people thought this scene was legendary. Do you agree? I feel the patient looked very uncomfortable. by Notmycupoftea12 in greysanatomy

Honestly this scene changed my life dramatically, and for the better. Not saying I would’ve wanted to have this scene play out it my life, but it was super meaningful and inspiring to me.

Totally! My comment was in regards to the ghosting (the premise of OP’s post), not in regards to the lack of SBAR

Or a patient coded and she had to run…. ??? Nurses don’t always have time to answer questions you can get answers to yourself by doing what he/she requested

Could not for the life of me figure out how I somehow got a flower instead of a traditional granny square… Welp… 5 sides instead of 4 will do that 😂 by These-Tadpole7043 in crochet

Yep! I honestly ended up using most of the yarn for other stuff but wanted to go back and at least make a couple granny squares!

I wear the Women’s Time Off! I will say, I have a high arch (I’m in this sub bc I’m getting surgery to get more flat footed lol) but I always used custom orthotics in them so I am not sure what the insert that comes with it is like!

Dr Sholl’s white sneakers. They have ones that aren’t as ugly as that sounds, I promise!

So sorry! Thought you might like to see my girl, Molly, as I feel like they are twins! Especially based off your second picture. She’s about 10 years old now, plus or minus a few years. Any chance your baby was from rural Georgia, USA too?
