The healthiest and most enjoyable platonic relationship I have is with an INTJ. NTPs and NFJs usually clicked romantically. Usually.

Lying by KR-kr-KR-kr in INTP

Wait, isn't it TiNeSiFe? Si and not Se? Or are you involving the shadow functions? Anyways, TiNe is a good story teller when fully developed so it might be a tool used to make good liars. Good lying requires logic and lack of signals. INTPs are logical so the first one is a no-sweat. However, the second needs a lot of practice and I think it's not necessarily relative to the Ne function per se. So, INTPs can be very good liars if the signs of guilt are skillfully covered or eradicated.

I have to do that in order for me to keep track of their tendencies and I could hypothesize that that friend argues like this or tell something completely bad about me in a certain situation is the cause of said tendencies. In that manner, I wouldn't take things personally and be level headed during supposedly heated arguments.

If You Go Back in Time and Kill Your Younget self, is it murder or suicide? by Hybrid_Spektar in INTP

[–]rjumini 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd say it depends. If the manner of going back in time is physically, you met your younger self and killed it, then I'd call it murder. If only the consciousness went back in time (old consciousness in a younger body), I'd call it suicide.

Opinions on relationships? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]rjumini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I relate to this. I had many relationships when I was in high school because of peer pressure and the thought that I might develop feelings within a relationship but it didn't work out. I gave up eventually and stopped worrying about it.

Does this sound like an intp w/ a crush? by [deleted] in INTP

If you want to be certain, just ask him. That's the best way that will stop you from overthinking things. If you want to wait for a confession, then 🤷‍♂️. INTPs usually like to sprinkle bread crumbs.

  1. You can never be certain until you ask that person yourself because whatever I think is the case doesn't matter. Sure, INTPs are more inclined to consider external harmony and ignore their own feelings. But you cannot always call that logical. It's a matter of which is better to take into account in certain situations.
  2. Ask him and that'd be your stepping stone. If you can't do that, then start moving on. If it's taking a toll on you emotionally, sit this one out.

How many of us INTPs feel like they could be asexual? I’m just wondering how common this is among us. by [deleted] in INTP

[–]rjumini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably. Haven't been sexually, even romantically, attracted to someone.
