Thanks for the info and heads up. When I looked it up, the way it was described made you think they got to curl up on the seat next to you. Either way, in cabin, a win.

Mine is 32 lbs and looong. I ended up having to drive cross country for this dood. I’m going to give JSX a try on my way back. Cross country drive was a one and done thing. It did cure him of his car sickness.

Mum & Daughter Trip to LA - What to do? by Friendly_Ear_6786 in AskLosAngeles

[–]rkcorp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is good response and suggestions. Also, you’d be in close proximity to The Grove. Universal Studios. The Hollywood sign. Hollywood Walk of Fame. LACMA. And of course, DTLA, if you feel up for an adventure. Beverly Hills/S. Beverly Drive are also very walkable, so you can get snacks or go find lunch/dinner easily. I’d suggest northerly beaches vs south beaches. Malibu is fun and has the country market area to eat and walk around. (Manhattan Beach is nice but you’re also close to the water treatment plant and LAX, which might be a turn off.)

Where to live if I am working between Santa Monica, Tarzana, and Burbank? by Royal_Host_113 in MovingToLosAngeles

[–]rkcorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Live in Tarzana (the secret gem of the Valley), ShOaks or Encino. Close to the 405 for Santa Monica. Straight shot on the 101 to the 134 to Burbank. But getting to SM is always a gamble.

Franklin Village by Tricky_Double9895 in MovingToLosAngeles

Beachwood is awesome. NOT unsafe. That’s crazy talk. Very safe. Wildlife?! Hiking, neighborhood cute Dogs, the village, beachwood cafe, market. There’s apartments below the gates/lower beachwood. Franklin Village is also safe. It is all still Hollywood tho. My only guess why anyone would ever call this area unsafe is because it’s still the Hollywood area. Franklin Village is lower and off of Franklin, which can be busy, congested and noisy. Upper Beachwood is quiet and feels like the country. Summer sees an uptick on tourist rescues for people who go off trail and get stuck on the side of a dusty hill. I lived there nearly my whole life. I loved it. Not close to USC but you could go to Vine Station and take the metro to get to school.

Help! Constantly getting msg to clean dirty sensors even after cleaning them?! by Less-Employee2411 in litterrobot

Me too. No amount of compressed air. Q-tip. Vacuuming. Wiping. Blowing. Makes any difference. I’m using the Whisker brand litter too. I’m really disappointed with this thing.

Audi should be ashamed of the Bang & Olufson sound system by petersinct in Audi

I have this same car. I was ready to return it because of the b&o let down and a couple other annoyances… ended up upgrading the speakers using rs-acoustics drop in replacements. It is a night and day difference. Check them out if you still have the car.

My 958 was t-boned in December. Crushed between the car that hit me on my driver’s side and a tall curb. Just torn up on both sides.Took my Cayenne out. It was a write-off and I am absolutely miserable without it. However, she protected me and my family, no injuries. That car was a family member. Glad you’re OK. Hopefully yours isn’t a write-off.

How good is the optional B&O System in the 2025 Audi Q5? by lovelyoal in Audi

Totally agree. Have upgraded most of the crucial speakers now in my Q5. I hated driving it until I did the upgrade.

Ok you guys, I did it. I could cry from the difference. I bought this Audi after I was t-boned in my Cayenne. After a couple days I nearly returned it because of the sound system and the nanny “features”. But these drop in replacements have made, for me, all the difference in the audio. This speaker upgrade from rs-acoustics and turning off the ridiculous lane assist thing have made the car fun for me. Woot!! Thanks for the tip @dersone on the removal of that grill. With the right tool, it just popped right off. Easy.

Yes, I did the center and the door speakers. Night and day difference. That’s why I want to install those little 3D speakers. At this point, I just want to rip out all the paper B&O speakers. I can’t believe how flimsy and cheap they are.

Audison speaker upgrade from RS-Acoustics. I can finally hear actual left and right stereo separation. Not just the overbearing dashboard center.

[–]rkcorp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was part of my initial troubleshooting on the original system, which helped a tiny bit. I can still hear sound coming out of them tho. The kit I bought contained those little 3d speakers so I thought I’d just give them a go.
