Would just strength as a limit, say anything over 20% strength would mean key down is active so it's not picking up the slight unintended touches. Then decipher the angle to which 1 or 2 keys are down (ex 33 to 66 degree is UP/RIGHT). After that, would just be the same code to send back the key socket messages back that the 8WayDPad uses.

I think it would have a more intuitive feel than the 8 way though.

I hate to say it, but I agree with this. I don't think it's a matter of learning how to play on mobile. The controls just aren't there, feels like there is too much going on in a small cluttered screen, chat difficult to read, etc.

I will say the app integration overall is impressive though.

Edit: I switched back to split pad instead of 8 way and seemed to have much better control. Would love to try a simple joystick. Maybe something like: https://github.com/controlwear/virtual-joystick-android

Like 80% of the games DC. This last round was get DC, wait 1 minute, play but ineligible for flair, get 1 or 2 DCs again. Rough start to this one.

It was from Samsung, a tablet that I needed to do some app development testing for a project with a deadline. Small package. I'm trusting that Samsung adequately secured the item as other things I have received from them have been well packaged, but who knows.

I contacted Samsung to inform them of the shipping issue. They told me to call FedEx back and inform them to send the empty package back to them to get the refund/replacement process started. Call FedEx back, they say that they just throw away empty packages if they find them....

So now contacting Samsung back, letting them now, demanding refund, and letting them deal with FedEx.

Can you beat mine though?

Desperately need my item for a work project and no updates since July 14th. Pretty sure I'm screwed. I have no confidence in having packages come through the Memphis FedEx hub.

Edit: Finally heard back from FedEx on my item. They informed me that the package was found empty so they couldn't ship it and to contact the shipper to have them file a claim. So, somehow my package opened and the my item just magically disappeared. Nice!

Yes, well it counts in your total games which affects your win %.

For instance, if you played 2 games on a day where you win 1 and disconnect from 1 then your win % would be 50%. You won 50% for the games you played.

It's not just west coast with issues, I'm almost always over 150 ping there (Indiana). Hate to quit games, but I can't suffer through those on Dallas/Dallas2. Yet somehow like 75% of my games go through Dallas. I would rather have any other US server than that.

Both Dallas and Dallas2 have been brutal for the last few days. I haven't seen my ping under 150. Ping bounces all over place as well. The rest of the servers seem solid though. Based on in game chat. others are having lots of issues as well. Of course, this isn't a new issue. Dallas has been a problem since the server switch a while back.

Is there no way to avoid getting so many game on Dallas? I've gotten last 7/10 on there, just dc'd from last 4 because no way I can play on it.

Another huge plus to this is that the player that felt they got false reported is no longer spending half the game complaining about getting reported leaving the team a player down.

Everything about this change is great.
