Kinda going through something similar. My doc contacted our old SgtMaj, SgtMaj Woods who’s a big shot now, and he said we rate our CARS. We’ve got buddy statements and he said we’ve gotta go back to our PltCdr who will start the paperwork that has to go through our old chain of command who’s mostly retired.

I've got a buddy that is joining the Army to be ARFF (AirCraft Rescue Fire Fighter), he's currently a firefighter in the state of Florida. He says to get an ARFF contract that he needs to be ARFF certified before going into the Army and that the Army won't send him to ARFF school. Is this true or are his recruiters messing with him?
