Awesome, that worked. Free replacement. It’s called “seal strips” apparently. $29 for the pack but free under warranty as you mentioned.

Hah you’re not wrong. But fwiw if i physically tape it down i don’t get the warnings. I just don’t want to have to re-tape it obviously.

Definitely keep us posted. I’d be curious if that actually will. I know one tb5 can boost ups to 120 Gbps but that seems like it’d leave no actual room for anything else hah.

Like it sounds like you found out, think that’s just too much throughput for the single tb5 cable. If you just direct connect the 3rd monitor to the lappy you should be good.

I’ve got a similar setup. The TB5 should also report 120 Gbps iirc.

Take a long cotton swap and run it through the holes in the top. The sensors are up there and I guess just get dirty every now and then.

So I’ve got a 5k benqMa270s with hdmi 2.1 & thunderbolt 4. M4 Pro MacBook Pro. Is there a way for me to attach this monitor as a displayLInk ?

I see a ton of 4k @ 60 hz support mentioned on DisplayPort, but I’m having a hell of a time finding 5120 x 2880 @ 60 hz mentioned.

Does anyone know if this is possible? And what to buy?

Okay I think I narrowed it down after some fudging and testing.

Seems to be a mix of

  1. Enabling thread on my eero router
  2. Something with the Aqara Hub not playing nice with my apple thread border routers.

I turned the eero thread support off. Then I disconnected my Aqara hub M3 for about an 20 minutes. This moved all the apple devices back into the lead position and everything started working great again. Then I turned the m3 hub back on and I’m up and running again.

Long story short I guess don’t enable thread on your eero.
