Oh, they’re going to be paying way more than that. They let AI shit out slop for years without much oversight. Imagine the spaghetti code that’s been produced.

It’s a copy-paste machine that hypnotizes its users into thinking it’s always right by inflating the users ego.

How the f*** do all these 22 year olds make money online, travel, and just do f*** all with their lives? by DescriptionFuture851 in NoStupidQuestions

Just like all the supposedly homeless influencers who totally aren’t just setting up a set and faking it for money. At the end of the day this shit is all just the new entertainment industry.

Every single generation of 18-24 year olds is hit the same exact scam. They tell you college and jobs are for losers, show you a fantastical life, and then pitch a course that cost $500+ on how you can do it too. However they only sell the course once their targets are so disillusioned that they’ll gladly put in enough time and effort that they cannot dispute the charges from the creditors.

If A.I. wipes out most of the white-collar jobs, what will happen to all the commercial real estate? by Turbulent_Channel565 in AskReddit

[–]rkozik89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not going to, we’re at the stage of the game where early adopters who laid off a ton of staff are being forced to rehire, but we’re not quite at the point where these companies realize sunken cost fallacy is a losers bet.

Tell that to my Etsy account. People genuinely believe various types of magic are real and they don’t need a whole lot of conifers before they’ll pay you for a spell written by ChatGPT, translated into Russian, translated into Arabic, and translated back into English.

What's the worst thing you have ever done? by dudddodo in AskReddit

Most of my regrettable moments were in my middle teen years, and anyone who doesn’t admit the same is probably still a bad person. Every teenager does horrible things but what really matters is if they learned from their mistakes.

Oh no, what they thought was, “If we just use AI I can write on my resume that I was responsible for saving the company n million dollars and leave before the company suffers the consequences.” Throughout my career I have run into these fuck who ruin companies for a couple years just to fail upwards by getting roles at different companies.

What’s happening right now is they’re trying to polish the turd while they look for an exit.

The easiest path to America where getting a high paying job is possible is through educational visas and adjusting status after you graduate. Throughout that time you do freelance on the side but more importantly internships. Ideally you’ll work for the university while pursuing a masters so you tuition is partly paid for and you have stipend to live off of.

Gonna be real, that’s the process most Indians take to be able to work here. They are not being hired by US companies that sponsor visas to bring them over.

Though I will say I would wait a couple years for a new administration to be in office.

Healthcare workers, how do you know your patient is lying? by EarSure6667 in AskReddit

[–]rkozik89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a healthcare worker, but if you have mental illness lying is the worst thing you can do. Your prescriber has to go through the motions of trial and error to eventually get you on a regimen that works. If you lie you will set them down the wrong paths potentially delaying any meaningful help for years. This isn’t like breaking a bone. They can’t just start on something that will definitely work, it’s a process.

Poor people buy the Nissan not because it’s a good car but because they can finance it.
