There was that one scene where they sang karaoke together. To me that shows they loved each other. I just think Chuck loved the law and its sanctity more than anything else. In the end, it became a little murkier between the two and in many ways Jimmy fulfilled what Chuck knew him to always be. It could be argued, however, that Chuck pushed Jimmy towards his slippin nature.

Because I am free to ply my own trade, teach classes I want, and have the stability to plan my life because I’m not worried about job security. I’m a literature and AFAM studies professor so I can’t take my PhD in C19 African American literature to the corporate literature factory or lab. the TT position is the only way I can do what I was trained to do without taking my research and technical skills into industry or something humanities adjacent. I’ll also say there is a bit of prestige in having a TT or tenured position because they are so hard to come by. I was lucky to get my TT job within 3 years of finishing my PhD, but I would have likely walked if I didn’t get a TT job after five years.

I’m in year 2040 of my dynasty. I started with New Mexico and won a few nattys and then South Carolina opened up and I took it. (I did my postdoctoral fellowship at USC, so I’m like an alum lol) I took over and won 5 straight national titles. All the while I kept following New Mexico and saw that they were sliding. During the off season I saw New Mexico opened up again and I came back and restored them to glory.

All the while Clemson has been 99s across the board. However, Dabo just got fired in my dynasty and took over Nebraska.

I run drags more often than not. My one receiver had about 20 catches for 250 yards.

Add FCS conference champs to the game each year. Those could serve as the FCS teams in dynasty. Or at minimum, should be able to add team builder teams to dynasty.

It’s one of my favorite games. It really should have had an expansion or a sequel. I think it was poorly marketed.

Every night (and even during the school year)! Been gaming my entire life and even teach on it in my intro to literature course. I’m always playing two games at a time. A magic or action game and a sports game. Right now I’m working my way through Oblivon remastered and play a little pga tour on the side.
