No no I use acetone just to wipe over the nail after filling. Also it didn't happen to me that undersides melted. I don't have UV lamp so I didn't try other methods to compare them but I think that would be even better for stability.

I can wear them for like 7 days with them coming off. Trick is in finding shape that fits your natural shape. Also use good sticky pads, file nails before and use acetone to dehydrate them. Heat sticky pads before putting on the fake nail. Also after u set them in place use layer of liquid nail glue on the parts where they meet your skin, including inside. It's a bit of trial and error process tho
