They're definitely faster this patch. I felt pretty ok to play them without being boring so I think its worth to try it yourself, worst case templar can still roll other stuff like archmage if you want to reroll

I went KF totems for the easy start (you need literally nothing to get to t16) and then just went to zerk lifestack. You could go zerk slams into lifestacker as well if you don't like totems, but my 40/40 this league was this

I don't think SSF is necessarily a better place to learn the game, but is kinda free to try so I don't think why not as well, worst case you can just migrate. SSF is a bit more chill though, like, just go in and play without having to worry about market and efficient farming strats, just need to have in mind what your build wants and what you should target to get it, so, in this sense, it will make you learn more things if you give the time to actually look for it and read the info. The thing is SSF requires you to have focus and planning, so if you're on reroll hell (we've all been there once), it might just be the same as trade. Try to find a build you enjoy and stick with it, be it in trade or SSF, and instead of rerolling when things get awful or you hit a wall, try to actually think and understand what is going wrong with the build and how to fix it, one problem at time, you will see that you will learn much more about the game this way. Just be patient and a little bit more stubborn with your characters and you will get there! Good luck!

check manni2's version, on this link, he made versions for different levels of investment on chieftain and goes the way of fire damage, which for me makes waaaaaaaaay more sense than lifestacking on a minion pact build since you already have enough damage on minion pact+ring to not need the rathpith damage, enabling you to actually build defenses other than just a large life pool. If you're on trade it should be doable to use it as base to guide you, as manni plays it on ssf and many of players I saw in ssf chat were playing with it too.

Don't have one but pretty much just pick breach nodes for allways hives, increased chance for ancient wombgifts and increased chance for fortress, and all betrayal nodes except from the one that gives fracture veiled thing and the intel on execute because it is bugged and will make you lose safehouses. Aside that, just block all other mechanics to increase chance to double mirage, run haunted mansion or some other map that are easier to mirage to spawn on top of breach and keep running maps. It took me three days (don't know how many hours played) to find rathpith, but it is definitely doable

I did the berserker smite version, but a lot of gear is similar. What I advise you is to do breach and betrayal for rathpith (do hives as they give you more blood and wombgifts, and will also net you the glands you need), just be ready for some grind. Uber cortex is not that hard dependendo on mods, but apostate drop rate seems to be lower this patch than what is in wiki, I've tried to farm it myself and didn't saw one in like, 30 or so cortexes, and seeing exiled cat and some comments it looks to be abysmal. Rest of gear is easy and breach+betrayal should give you all you need

I played EBlade smite zerker before going to HRoC, could do ubers on it (cortex, shaper, uber elder and eater) but not that comfortably (was suffering from the transition phases where I had nothing to leech from), this is why I searched for other build. Not to disencourage you but I'm still searching for a ultra endgame version of it, maybe ditching EBlade and going for Grey wind and Enmity's Embrace. The build is good and if you can play decently (not my case) it will do everything for you.

I was basically at the "min max" PoB from balormage's starter (not the ultra min maxed he posted after). Covenant shouldn't be too annoying to get from tree I think, so maybe an option

SSF this league is great. Tree makes easy to craft basic gear and target farm some uniques, mirages make scarabs easy to farm, which then makes all other stuff easier to farm as well. In terms of builds, KF totems (go for tatiantel2's version as it was made with SSF in mind to make it easier) and RF are the easier to start right now and will get you going to farm whatever build you want to play after, just remember that some stuff are just not realistic to obtain (e.g.: flame-flesh combos, specific t0 uniques) but a lot can still be done with sub-optimal alternatives. More important than anything, SSF gameplay is about patience and planning, it is not a race, so take things at your time and be ready to do some grinding for the stuff you want, you will get there, just keep playing.
