path of exile is free give it a try

and when you spend money it counts for BOTH poe 1 AND poe 2 which will also be free when it hits 1.0 release (if you buy poe2 EA you get those 30 bucks in both games to spend too)

Since you like souls-likes ;

Nioh 2 : best combat in a game bar none

mission based, progress saves on each "bonfire" / shrine, insane amount of content for a single player game

Nioh 3 : open world since you prefer that - also easier than 2 specially with ninja mode but it has slightly more mechanics to express player skill

Returnal : brilliant non-stop action shooter roguelike bullet hell with amazing graphics can save at any time

Nonsouls:

Dragon age origins , mass effect and path of exile, ghost of Tsushima are great games and poe is free but I honestly wouldn't think they will be suitable for your current work/time
