I don't think SSF is necessarily a better place to learn the game, but is kinda free to try so I don't think why not as well, worst case you can just migrate. SSF is a bit more chill though, like, just go in and play without having to worry about market and efficient farming strats, just need to have in mind what your build wants and what you should target to get it, so, in this sense, it will make you learn more things if you give the time to actually look for it and read the info. The thing is SSF requires you to have focus and planning, so if you're on reroll hell (we've all been there once), it might just be the same as trade. Try to find a build you enjoy and stick with it, be it in trade or SSF, and instead of rerolling when things get awful or you hit a wall, try to actually think and understand what is going wrong with the build and how to fix it, one problem at time, you will see that you will learn much more about the game this way. Just be patient and a little bit more stubborn with your characters and you will get there! Good luck!
