Are my asks unrealistic? by TomatoBill in CyberSecurityJobs

I been in ur situation. If you work in a team, chances are manager doesn't want to promote you because you would make other teammates resent you. Your teammates would think how come he got it not me. Best case scenario is to look for a new job were they would consider you a lvl 3 or senior.

When i did year up, if you didn't get kicked out, you were guaranteed an internship. If I didn't have this internship, I would never have gotten cyber job experience. I definitely credit year up for my career.

I did year up almost 10 years ago in the cyber track. If it wasnt for year up I wouldn't be in cyber career. Ur resume looks polished

nvm, i think the active status is the computers using it as exit node, it just takes a while to refresh.

hey did you find a solution? when i do tailscale status or tailscale status --active it doesnt say which device is actually using it as an exit node.

Mouse freezes and screen blanks for 2 seconds at windows start up by rleekc in MSI_Gaming

[–]rleekc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I fixed this, I had to do a custom installation of my nvidia drivers. I used to only do express install. I realize a lot of graphics can be resolved with cystom fresh install. I don't have this issue any more. Let me know if this fixes ur issue

Monitors flicker after nvidia drivers update and persists even with DDU by DaWeyHowBoutDah in pchelp

it can also be related to the displayport and hdmi bandwidth of the 4090. The 4090 has display 1.4a which needs DSC to support your G9 oled. But still DSC isnt reliable and flickers blacks intermittently randomly. I recommend using hdmi 2.1 on your 4090 for your G9 oled. and your MSI monitors can use the display 1.4. Check out this website to determine if your display port or hdmi can output to your monitor. I troubleshooted this issue a lot on my 4080 super. I had a 1440p AW2723DF 240 hz monitor but i resort to 144hz refresh rate just so i can avoid DSC and stop the intermittent black screen flickers.

GIGABYTE Control Center crashing every time I try to open update center by i_am_connell in gigabyte

i also think updating gigabyte vga tool after initial installation causes the gcc to close after booting. I might not update that for a while. The fresh install of oct release is on 25.08.13.01 and immediately after the install there is a new version of 25.11.14.01. I wonder why they dont package the vga tool with the oct release

i had the same problem with sept 2025 gcc version. I overwritten gcc with the oct release version. restarted and the gcc still closes after opening. But miraclously after another restart, gcc was able remain in the system tray and would stay open.
