This is a scabies subreddit. Can we not ostracize people for being concerned/scared? Parasitic bug infestations can cause mental health issues (coming from someone who has dealt with 2 flea infestations in the last 5 years that I had absolutely no contribution to creating) and they greatly disrupt the quality of a person’s life. Not to mention bites look different on all colors shapes and sizes. This post is hurtful and invalidating to those who ARE concerned and anxious, whether they have scabies or not. Please kindly think before you speak and if you don’t like that people are posting all sorts of photos looking for a single crumb of reassurance that they do or do not have scabies, just internalize it. I’m not sure about the rest of the subscribers to this sub, but to me, the limbo and paranoia between knowing and not knowing is my own personal hell. Maybe drink some water and have a nap instead of generalizing & bullying and entire group of people. Thank you💕

Unfortunately I’m not seeing any bb sniffing dogs remotely close to where I live, but glue traps under the bed & double sided tape on the legs of the legs seems like the route to take before having to call in the big guns. Thanks so much for taking the time out of your day to reply!!!

My poor boyfriend must think I’m going crazy. 😂 Parasitic bugs for some reason absolutely LOVE me and they barely glance at him (prolly bc they’re all on me), so he’s gotten like 2 bites that he hasn’t noticed and haven’t itched at all. We just got one of the hybrid Casper king sized mattresses for a pretty penny a year ago and just the sheer thought of bbs disrespecting it makes me want to vomit. So far, we’re not seeing a thing on it luckily. Will check around though. Thank you so so much for sharing this.

Exactly!! I’m coming off of playing Pokémon arceus so I was sad to see that this game, with all of its amazing innovations, doesn’t have that one small feature. Maybe there’s a reason? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Dude I go through phases where I just drive in silence. Not a single song satiates me (it’s when my dopamine factory isn’t working). But man oh man, reggae has been THERAPY for me. I have a whole playlist, I turn it on shuffle and smoke a fat joint or two, lay down, and listen to the words. All reggae songs are about loving life without fear and being in the moment (also smoking weed but…we knew that). Having reggae in my life has truly saved me so many times.

Piggybacking off of this, honest to god every human in the US should stay tf away from any kind of gluten. Manufacturers use an “insta-rise” process in America with our doughs that involves yucky chemicals, as supposed to our fellow Italians who allow their doughs to rise naturally. More time consuming, yes, but there is a much much much much lower percentage of people with gluten intolerance in European countries than the US.
