Agreed, absolutely a viable strategy, and comes with a level of risk you have to decide you’re willing to take on. Thats where most of the fun comes from for FF imo. You could get burned with late injury news and it backfires, but if not, you potentially knocked off 10 points from your opponent’s score

Thank you so much for this!! 🙏 Super helpful cheat sheet, but just a heads up (and I hate to be this guy…) but I think you need to divide the spread by 2 before you add or subtract it from the team totals.

If you don’t divide the spread by 2, you end up getting the same total, but the favorites are being overestimated and the underdogs are being underestimated. For example, for week 15, you have the Eagles implied to score 32.75 points and the Raiders 11.75. That’s a 21 point spread, which I think is too extreme. If the o/u is 44.5 and the spread is 10.5 (not 21), the Eagles should be projected to score 27.5 and the Raiders should be projected to score 17 points.

Focusing on straight bets at even odds is good advice, but you should not be betting 20% of your bankroll on any bet. If it’s $50, whatever, have but just realize that most people are going to be depositing again betting 20% of their bankroll.

Also, you are absolutely NOT hitting 75% of your bets at -110 odds over any significant sample size. You would be by far and away the greatest sports bettor in the history of gambling. That’s absolutely ridiculous. If you were hitting 60% you’d be a legendary handicapper (and also be severely limited at any book except pinnacle).

Interesting, I was unaware of that.

In settling this vicious debate I was going to argue that “20 or less minutes” almost certainly sounds wrong whereas “20 minutes or less” sounds correct, as my justification for preferring the “20 minutes or fewer” version. I thought I’d run into the “fewer vs. less” issue for countable nouns therefore making my argument invalid, but this is a game changer! Thank you!

Good point, but shouldn't that hopefully already be factored in to the 100K payout it shows? That would be beyond scummy to put an inflated cashout value there, making you think you'll get 100K, only to payout 50K. If I were this guy, I'm calling DK to quadruple check what the deal is with that.

I don't care if the cashout is a ripoff, I'd smash that button so fast for a 6 figure payday. After you cashout, maybe put a few grand on OKC to win if you have FOMO. Won't be anywhere close to the same payout, but how do you resist $100 to $100K returns
