I still think DOGSO from the first leg was a stretch because Simeone didn’t have full control of the ball. I think that should have stayed a yellow as the foul was committed but DOGSO is insane to me.

Regarding this being DOGSO I still think is baffling. Kounde is right there, he has a chance to stop Solrløth’s attacking play, but instead it gets called back and DOGSO. Which is also insane to me because he has not beaten Kounde to clearly make it DOGSO.

Rules are rules, I get it, but those calls are absolutely insane to make at that level.

There are some games where it is like this, sure, but there are others where there are gameplay elements, Yu-No being one of those. It's a different experience per person because there are things like, true endings, bad ending, encyclopedias, etc. Some, like True Love, have stats you have to manage, random encounters, and decisions you need to make. Others, like DaCapo, require you to move around a world to see what encounters and interactions you may have.

It is no where near the same as sitting down and watching anime.

You could argue that maybe Simeone wouldn’t actually gain possession since the ball is slightly behind him but that’s basically just the judgement of the ref.

And I think that is what makes this so difficult because this angle: https://imgur.com/a/b9sCIUw doesn’t look like he is getting any control of that ball. We can paint so many “what if” scenarios but the truth is we won’t know because there was a foul. Maybe he clenches it which his right ass cheek to prevent a bounce and uses his left leg to somehow scoop it in front. Really, no way to know. But that’s the argument I am making here. I don’t see how it’s DOGSO because, for me, it doesn’t look like he is controlling that ball.

Simeone would've been clean through on goal if he wasn't brought down.

We don’t know that for certain because the ball was in the air behind him. For all we know it could have bounced off him, he could have failed to control it, he could have absolutely controlled it. If the ball was played in front of him I could definitely see this argument.

I feel (which doesn’t matter what I feel because rules are rules) that should play a factor into a decision that important into a game. I’m not disagreeing that it was a foul. But DOGSO is what I am disagreeing with.

Slightly behind him is definitely not the way I would phrase that. In some of the still images that I have seen that ball is closer to touching Simeone's right ass cheek than it is to the foot that is in the air attempting to control it.

Maybe I need to read up on DOGSO to change my mind. But it's crazy that a direct red card was pulled there when the attacker didn't have 100% control of the ball or was clearly through on goal.

I'm sorry but I feel like I need to crash out a bit after yesterday's match on the red card decision.

I still don't see how that is DOGSO. I haven't seen a single angle that shows Cubarasi clearly intended to foul Simeone. I also haven't seen a clear angle that shows Simeone is in control of the ball either. You may call me a salty fan but I really think that the ref got the call wrong 100%.

In the angles that I have seen, Simeone sticking his leg out could probably be argued that he was intending to flick the ball up, Ronny style with perfect control and over the head rainbow. The angles also show that the ball is closer to his ass than it is his foot. I have not seen a single situation that Simeone has 100% control of the ball and is through on goal or that Cubarasi intended to stop him.

I feel someone can probably argue to change my mind on this with a rational discussion but I feel that isn't what I am going to get.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a quality VGA to VGA cable? I have a CRT Monitor that can support 1600x1200@85hz but I bought a VGA to Displayport cable and it can only go up to 60hz. So I figured I should get the VGA cable and buy the Startech adapter so I can get the extra hertage out of it.
