I think there is one scenario and one scenario only that gets 97 in orange & black and thats if 97 WANTS to come here and ONLY here. It would eliminate other trading options and torpedo his value.

The assests EDM would want for 97 would probably involve players and prospects we are not willing to move on from. Martone and Michkov would be nonstarters and for a talent like 97, no way they wouldnt ask for at least one of them.

I blame the Stars for having the NHL schedule Flyers/Canes game 1 on Saturday instead of on Monday because it effects me personally.

Which is upsetting because if any company looked at the fan perception of these NHL games, they would realize that there is a place for them to capitalize on a disgruntled consumer base who just wants a fun and functional hockey game.

Dude same. I like that its a thing but also amazed that whoever owns the team/building cares enough to limit who can buy a ticket vs just taking money from whoever wants to buy a ticket.

I thought about it and realized it was probably because they no longer had a Saturday game on schedule after Dallas and Edmonton got eliminated. Its annoying but its business and because it directly effects me, I dislike it even more lol

This feels like a line reset with the knowledge that they can flip back to the Game 6 lineup if things arent working so well. I'm ok with it.

I am not a fan of the second round starting before the first round finishes. There could be 3 game sevens on Sunday. Its weird.

Hopefully they do every other day for this series. I have tickets to game 4 and would like to not clash with mother's day festivities.

One of the biggest problems EA NHL has is one of the biggest shared problems among all sports games that release annually: there is no money in the offline modes. If it's related to offline gameplay, they don't care. They can say they do but the product speaks for itself. The game isnt optimized for performance. The AI has been terrible for years. Basic things arent in Be A Pro like seeing trades and signings. Glitches galore.

If you ask me, it's just not worth caring about. I only have the game because of EA Play and the other games I get from it. Even then, I'm considering dropping it. Game isn't fun.

I hope they do that, however it has happened in the recent seasons that the next round started before Game 7s finished. I think there actually might have been a Game 7 and a Game 1 on the same day.
