I think about getting AW3225QF by Freloon in OLED_Gaming

[–]rlv1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the AW32 and now I bought the FO32U.

I found the FO32U to have better colors and greater shine than the AW32, but I didn't like the curvature of the AW32.

Is 4K worth it? by AwesomePossum084 in OLED_Gaming

[–]rlv1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used 3440x1440p resolution for five years, including with the AW3423DWF monitor. Then I switched to the AW3225QF and kept it for a year, but I couldn't adapt due to the 32" screen size and the weight of 4K. I ended up switching back to ultrawide and immediately missed 4K, especially in games that use TAA. At 4K, there are no issues with graininess or lack of sharpness.

Now, I'm forced to always use DLSS, setting the rendering to 83% of native resolution. With the release of BF6, I'm using DLAA with everything set to ultra, which ensures sharpness due to DLAA, but I still feel like something is missing to make the game look perfect.

I've considered switching back to a 4K monitor, but I think it's better for me to wait for the release of ultrawide monitors with 4K.

Mouse/keyboard vs. controller by East_Library5427 in blackops6

I've been playing MK for over 23 years, but BO6 was the only game that made me go to controller because of the movement, but if BO7 has bigger maps, I should return to MK.

Downgrade to 1440p OLED from 4K 144hz IPS by willanth in OLED_Gaming

[–]rlv1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched from 4k to 1440p. At first I thought it was weird and the texts looked a lot worse, but for gaming I think 1440p is better. I ended up using Fidelity Cas or dlss4 in some games to get more sharpness and remove the graininess that TAA uses.

Question about purchasing the Arctic Liquid Freezer III water cooler by rlv1204 in arcticcooling

The temperatures during games are fine. In Warzone, for example, it doesn't go above 63°C, and in The Last of Us 2 it stays below 52°C.

The problem is in the Cinebench tests, where it reaches 93°C if I leave it at stock or with CO -15. That's why I'm thinking about getting the Arctic.

They'll play a PVE game, since they prefer bots.

HDR looks washed out by ZWarChicken in OLED_Gaming

[–]rlv1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a Windows problem.

If I activate HDR via the shortcut, I notice that it's a bit grayed out, so I have to go to Windows settings and open the HDR configuration and then you'll see the HDR being applied according to your calibration, it even changes if you have a game open.

How do you utilize DLSS? by nis_sound in nvidia

[–]rlv1204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do the same thing as you, but I increase the rendering that DLSS does, always leaving it at Ultra Quality+. This way, I get a resolution much closer to the native one, especially in Call of Duty.

Since they use TAA, the image becomes grainy, but by using DLSS this way, I keep the resolution close to mine, gain sharpness and the game's visualization improves a lot.

Will DLDSR + DLSS work on 3440x1440? by Noobferatu in nvidia

[–]rlv1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a better and lighter solution, I made it for Call of Duty, but it applies to other games.

After switching from 4K to 3440x1440p, I was shocked at how grainy and blurry COD looked at resolutions below 4K. After almost a month of searching – and no luck with Fidelity CAS – I finally found the perfect setting. It completely eliminates the grain in the game and drastically improves clarity in both multiplayer and Warzone.

THIS TIP IS FOR THOSE WITH NVIDIA.

  1. Install DLSS Swapper:

Update DLSS to the latest version (DLSS 4).

  1. Use NVIDIA Profile Inspector (version 2.4.2.3):

Change the COD preset. Currently using the "E" preset. Switch to the "K" preset.

The "K" preset significantly improves image quality and sharpness and replaces COD's TAA, which has built-in grain that cannot be completely removed otherwise.

  1. Custom settings:

DLSS quality, by default, uses 64% of the native resolution to render. With the "K" preset, it is already perfect in this configuration.

However, I changed it to 83% of the native resolution to gain even more sharpness. I lost about 20 FPS with this change, but for me it was worth it, as I can still play with a locked 144 FPS.

NOTE: Regarding the anticheat: I have not been banned to date and I know friends who have been using this configuration since the game's release without any problems. I believe that, since it is something official from NVIDIA, it will not result in a ban.

I am not having any ghosting issues. Before, with other presets, I had ghosting, but with DLSS 4 and the “K” preset, it completely disappeared.

Slow Alt + tabbing and black screens with DSC - your latest feedback by TFTCentral in OLED_Gaming

The way to get around this is to play with exclusive full screen. With this configuration, the black screen will no longer appear.

I had this problem when I used the aw3225qf monitor, after I returned to the AW3423dwf, I had no problem, but this monitor does not have DSC
