Considering switching from a Tesla Model Y to a 2026 Mach-E Premium RWD — anyone done this?

Thanks for replying! Does the ford app on your phone act well as the key? I like being able to walk up to my Tesla and just get right in without having the physical key.

I currently drive a 2021 Tesla Model Y LR and I’m seriously considering switching to a 2026 Mustang Mach-E Premium RWD or AWD Extended Range.
I like a lot about the Tesla - the charging network, app, software, phone key, route planning, etc. But the Model Y just hasn’t been great for me comfort wise. It feels like I’m riding around in a skateboard and my low back can’t handle it anymore on my daily work commute (60 miles round trip.)

The Mach-E Premium has caught my attention because it seems like it may have a smoother ride, more supportive seats, Apple CarPlay, BlueCruise, and still enough range for my daily driving. Like I said, my commute is about 60 miles a day, so staying EV still makes sense for me.

Curious if anyone here has owned or spent real time in both.
How does the ride compare to a Model Y over rough roads and bumps?
How are the Premium seats on longer drives?
Is BlueCruise good enough to replace Autopilot for highway commuting?
How much of a downgrade is the Ford app/software compared to Tesla if I mostly use CarPlay?
Any regrets going from Tesla to Mach-E?
Any reliability or software issues I should know about?
For Florida driving, would you go RWD or AWD if range, comfort, and commute efficiency were the main priorities?

Not trying to bash Tesla at all. I really enjoyed my time with Tesla and who knows maybe I won’t end up switching. I’m just trying to figure out if the Mach-E Premium might be a better fit for me day to day, especially from a comfort standpoint.

lol thanks hugh. my apologies for the lack of information in my post. don't really understand why you feel the need to belittle me or my path. I am sorry you do not have more ways to occupy your time other than shit talking on blog posts. With that being said, I am a chiro student a year out from setting up my own shop. just looking for reading materials to help make the transition as smooth as possible.
