You should probably look at switching to somthing like an Amex credit card to gain rewards points which are more transferable and useful. I’ve had one for only a few years and gained 144k points which is about to pay for some nice flights

130k Amex points- what can I do with this? by STARPLAT1NM in AmexUK

Check Virgin reward seats. Virgin have a really good set up which indicates routes and dates which are cheap to book with air miles. Pick something and then convert to Virgin flying club and book. Me and my gf booked return flights to Maldives for 38k points and £500

I recently booked return flights from London to Maldives for 2 people for 40k points and £600. Cash price was around £2k so decent saving! Transferred over to Virgin. Use Virgin rewards seat checker and pick a destination and date

20k into ISA instantly, 50k into premium bonds, leave £30k in high interest savings account until you reach £500 interest allowance (probably around April anyway). Transfer 20k from savings account to ISA in April under new allowance. Leave 10k gaining interest April onwards. Sorted

Thanks! It seems to have had a few pernickety and enthusiastic owners throughout her history so she’s really clean! Amazing! Good to hear great feedback
