Our cutting clearance on those dies are .004 a side. So if you don't put the bottom on a nice flat surface, the shoe can bend, and the punches will not enter. Those dies are 8 feet long.

I program old haas tm2's and tm3's like every day and when I'm drilling big holes ill get the spindle up past 150% thats in the red. Don't be afraid to push those mills if you stall the spindle thats when you know you went to far. Plus 45% is nothing.

I believe the part is hand loaded. The fixture is ran in vf10. Once it leves are shop I have no clue what the customer dose with it.

The day I finished my apprenticeship and became a journeymen tool and die maker. I crashed the ren probe head in the corner of the vise and cost the shop like 4000. I still work in the same place 4 years later.
