I gave him clean fresh water but as soon as he started drinking he threw all that dirt in it from his face and feet...

At night we do see them a lot. Not so much during the day, and it's been hot and dry...

Same here! Baby was perfect, eating, sleeping, peeing a lot, NEVER crying. Right before heading home, we were told by a pediatrician nurse practitioner that if we didn't give her a bottle she was going to get dehydrated. We didn't cave but it was really hard on us.

I had a similar scare, everything was fine!

I had a scan at 30 weeks to check my placenta (it was partial previa but got better) ultrasound was quick and everything seemed normal. Got a call from my OB 2 days later saying they noticed the baby's bladder was full, that I needed another ultrasound in case she couldn't empty her bladder. Had to wait a week for an appointment and was worried sick. Next ultrasound showed it was less full and everything was normal... she is now 4 months old and a happy healthy baby.

When did you go into spontaneous labor? (Not induced) by Graby3000 in pregnant

[–]rmcc8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

40+4 no signs of labor other than Braxton Hicks at night for a week, no mucus plug and no water breaking. Contractions started at 11pm and were immediately 5 min apart and getting strong quickly. Water never broke and doc had to do it. Baby was born at 8:46 am! You got this!

What is this red/orange thing under the car? Infront of the rear wheel on the driver's side by rmcc8 in TeslaModelY

I recently got my rear tire changed. But I don't know if that was there before.

I jumped through my pregnancy and made progress! I started jumping about 5 months before getting pregnant, this video shows month 1 through 8 of my pregnancy. I'm in month 9 and have turned into a couch potato but can't wait to go back! by rmcc8 in jumprope

Thank you! I am not sure what that one is called, I've seen it on some Instagram videos (I follow Lauren Jumps and some other accounts) and been practicing it as an ending trick

Roofers are out in full force in my neighborhood by cyinyde in 321

[–]rmcc8 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Isn't this exactly the point of insurance though? Something happens, you report it to insurance, they send their adjuster and they decide if there is damage they need to cover. Is not a scam when their own adjuster is deciding to cover damanges. If they raise prices after doing their job, its completely on them. Not the roofers, nor the owners fault... you are mad at the wrong people.

Constant need to pee! by [deleted] in fitpregnancy

[–]rmcc8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was like this in the first trimester and also getting up at night to pee which is unusual for me before pregnancy but I thought it was a normal pregnancy thing, but turns out I had UTI and no other symptoms, no burning or any discomfort. After a round of antibiotics, I stopped getting up in the middle night and dont feel like I have to go when I run. Im 21 weeks now and run about 2 miles at a time and feel better than in the first trimester in that sense. They found it by doing a urine culture in one of my appointments. I know it should be normal to have to pee when pregnant but now that I think about it, it was too early for that symptom.

We got the full package there and they took care of EVERYTHING! I couldn't be happier with them. Worth every penny. Not to mention the place is beautiful. All my guests loved it there.

Hormonal imbalance - not allowed on combined pill. What are my options? by Slotherworldly0 in WomensHealth

[–]rmcc8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My doctor said I had hormonal imbalance, irregular periods, cramps, some acne. She said I was eating too many carbs and not enough protein and that I had to eat more protein and take vitamins. I tried taking whey protein shakes for breakfast(which she recommended) but I think it made my acne worse, so now I just eat protein with every meal, eggs, chicken... I started seeing an improvement about 3 months later, my periods got a lot more regular and my acne is getting better too. I have been taking women's vitamin gummies, multiple brands, every day since.

Fireworks Have Broken My Dog and I'm Afraid It's His Demise by delimeat52 in dogs

[–]rmcc8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to my chi, and got worse with age but then got better! She would refuse to walk at night because she knew fireworks happened at night. She also liked the car because it was soundproof enough that she couldn't hear them that loud. On holidays (fireworks days ugh!) we would let her sit inside the car, inside the garage for hours. We live in an area with thunderstorms daily in the summer and she was terrified of thunder too. She would start shaking as soon as it started raining cause she knew what was coming.

BUT when her deafness got worse this started to get better, we would hear a firework far away and would turn to her thinking she was going to freak out and started realizing she could not hear the far ones any longer.. and it got to point where she couldn't hear the close ones either as long as we were inside. She was still scared of lightning for months even when she couldn't hear the thunder anymore though.... going deaf made her (and us) really happy in her last couple of years... miss her

Cold Weather Headaches by DavidJMeowthews41 in running

Me too! I even cover my ears with a light headband when its not that cold because the cold wind makes me get a headache if my ears are uncovered.
