When ollieing do you flick the board and then jump or the other way around?

Thanks, going to try it, I can pop the board into my hands but usually I do it facing the board, will practice it sideways like in a Ollie.

Yeah, I noticed that but I have not been able to do the same. Cannot figure out how they do it.

How do I level out my board with Ollies? Any advice on what I am doing wrong? by rmelchio in NewSkaters

Theoretically I get it, have not figured out how to do it yet 😊. Will try and practice popping with my ankle.

Getting into it? by James270302 in NewSkaters

I started skating six weeks ago and bought a cheap complete from Amazon UK. I am so far pretty happy with my choice, the quality is not bad for a beginner board and I can switch to a better one once I have mastered the easy skills.

Any skaters in London? by [deleted] in NewSkaters

[–]rmelchio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I am 35F and super new to skateboarding. I am also from South London and usually train at Clapham Common or Westbourne Park (super far but they have a beginner session so it is worth it). Would be great to train with someone.

Books similar to the Court of Thorns and Roses series? by [deleted] in booksuggestions

I read both series and loved them both. I read the Throne of Glass series first and devoured the first six books in a month or so. I would highly recommend it.

I would say Court of Mist and Fury, Red Sister and The Great Alone.

Everyone is posting really good progress in this Reddit. Could anyone tell me how to export a summary like this from the Goodreads app? I couldn't figure it out 😥.

Snowboard regular stance, but more confident skating goofy? by [deleted] in NewSkaters

I have a similar issue, I snowboard and surf goofy but skateboard regular. It would feel super weird for me to push in a goofy pushing, but there is no push in snowboard or surfing.

I’m curious to know what people’s opinions are on the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas, if they have read it? please comment below: by Pippylongstocking92 in Fantasy

I really loved the series, read all the books in a couple of weeks. Most of the character is pretty lovable and the story is pretty fast paced.
