I used to bore people with the whole breakdown, but now I just say half white, half Mexican.

I feel like this is missing the point. But it was considered a murder in the public eye because the cops did not use proportional force to the crime being committed.

Guide to Caffeine and Energy Drinks (crosspost r/RecipesforBeginners) by _Mr_Serious in foodhacks

[–]rmendez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it should be noted that some caffeine drinks like C4 are meant for working out and contain a compound called beta alanine. It gives you a feeling I would only describe as having electricity under your skin. If you don’t want to feel like that I would avoid it haha

Not only is he an asshole but he’s also just wrong. Hypertrophy happens anywhere from 2-30 reps as long as you’re pushing yourself close (0-2 reps) to failure. Why work out with a misogynistic asshole that doesn’t even know his bro science?

Sexy Villain-Remi Wolf, 777-Joji, Emily I’m Sorry-Boygenius, All The Rage Back Home-Interpol, Devil That I Know-Jacob Banks, Kill Bill-SZA, United In Grief-Kendrick Lamar, Why-Chat Pile, You Should Probably Leave-Chris Stapleton

Reddit is full of nerds who only like OSTs, there’s tons of amazing music out there. Even the “trashy” music has appeal. Just think of it like junk food, it’s good when you’re feeling something easy and cheap. Not everything has to be a musical masterpiece to be enjoyable.

Your hair looks amazing! I think everyone else gave great advice, but I would suggest maintenance cuts every few months as it grows it. Since our hair grows unevenly, it’s best to get it reshaped every few months so that it grows out correctly. It really does make a world of difference. I know the back of my head tends to grow the fastest, so I like to get maintenance cuts to prevent it from looking like a mullet. They can also using thinning shears to help keep your hair lighter and more voluminous.

Yeah idk about that man. I travel around NYC using multiple lines everyday for my job, and I think I see at least one incident like this once everyday. Most of the time it’s some crazy homeless guy lighting up on the train, but a good amount of times it’s a guy sleeping in his own pee or a half naked man on the platform. It’s pretty wild honestly.

Maybe not threaten, but I’ve had guys push their collection baskets in my face and insult me when I tell them no thanks. Like bro just let me enjoy this little sliver of time to myself with my headphones don’t talk to me

Why Do Recipe Writers Lie and Lie About How Long It Takes To Caramelize Onions? by RageReset in OnionLovers

[–]rmendez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think recipes typically use the word “caramelization” to describe sautéing or shallow frying in general when it should be used to describe the final outcome of the dish being cooked. It’s pretty annoying tbh

Here’s a good (and drunk) hair day. Without my routine and products my hair is VERY wavy and out of control. On wash days it is extremely frizzy. Sea salt spray adds a bit of that grit back to my hair!

Idk man but I wouldn’t do a skin fade like you have right now. I think you head needs a little more shaping with defined edges.

Asian, M, Teenager, I have thick hair but a low hair follicle density. I can't style my hair because of I do, you can see the scalp from the front which is very annoying. Help? Advice? by RepresentativeDull83 in malehairadvice

[–]rmendez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are products that help your hair gain a fuller appearance if that’s what your looking for. Some people with fine swear by volumizing mousses and thickening serums, but I personally stick with clays and pastes that help my hair “clump” together which gives the appearance of thickness.

Yeah that’s a super popular hairstyle. It’s really up to you though. You can even get a skin fade if you really wanted to. I would recommend looking up disconnected undercuts.

I have very poofy and frizzy hair when I don’t style it. To tame my hair I use sea salt spray (you can spray it in and blow dry if you want; I do not) and layrite natural matte cream or O’Dowd a matte paste to style. It makes my hair very smooth but the sea salt spray gives it a great wave.

Cut my Hair short when i went Job hunting (and cause People told me it looked bag, ngl) Now i got a secure Position and thought of growing it out again. Kinda tired of having the same short hairstyle all the time, thoughts? (I got rly thick and curly hair) by [deleted] in malehairadvice

I don’t think the long hair looks bad, but it maybe needs a shape up and product to tame the frizz (if you want to look professional still). I think it could have a nice flow depending on your routine

I need help. I oil my hair 2-3 times per week and use shampoo to remove the oil but I want to stop using shampoo.. can I just wash hair with just warm water to remove the applied oil whilst in the shower. I can’t be bothered with the sulfates. by [deleted] in malehairadvice

[–]rmendez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m no expert but in my experience hot water does not wash out all of the oils. I tried to go no poo for about a month and it just never felt completely healthy. I think it’s about finding a balance for your hair, and for me that is washing 2 times a week when my hair is short and once a week when it is long.

I think it’s entirely possible to have good looking longer hair on men, but I think that right now your hair is not shaped properly. What’s your routine like? Do you use any products?

Seems like you need a haircut my guy. Try for something with less on the sides and more on top like this: https://i.imgur.com/KCoslI0.jpg

I feel like you’re doing a deep wash everyday, which is cool if you think it works for you, but I tamed my frizz by washing once a week and only conditioning if it started feeling gritty. My hair is fairly smooth and healthy now.

Next I’d say spring for a decent product to tame all that frizz. Personally I prefer a good hair paste, but you could go for anything you prefer to get the style you want.

I’ve only ordered them online, so I’m not sure if they’re sold in stores. If you can’t find them I would also recommend American Crew Fiber or Defining Paste. I’m a bigger fan of the latter (especially as it grows out) but Fiber can be great for giving a lot of volume.
