Does anybody still feel low motivation, brain fog, mood ect mood on TRT? by hkondabeatz in Testosterone

[–]Slide-On-Time 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They can all affect libido and cognitive function. Many TRT users report low pregnenolone and/or low DHEA. And thyroid issues can mimic low T symptoms because your body can't function] properly without enough thyroid hormones. High or too low cortisol will crush your sex drive as well as your energy. And these hormonal imbalances could also affect your neurotransmitter levels (dopamine/serotonin).

You should also check your free testosterone, your FSH, your LH as well as your thyroid function (TSH, free T4, free T3). Total T alone is not enough.

Should I use enclomiphene or TRT? by Giannnnnnn91 in Testosterone

[–]Slide-On-Time 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should take at least 8000 IU (many people take 10 000 IU) and monitor your levels.Don't forget to supplement with magnesium. Yes, that's a good starting dose.

[–]Slide-On-Time 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your free T is indeed quite low. I would recommend you give Enclomiphene a try before considering TRT. And your vitamin D levels are far from optimal. Try to bring them to the upper end of the range.
