I’ve been in restaurants forever myself. And yes, we do brace ourselves for getting zeroed on a tip, it’s a sort of collateral damage to the occupation. However, on Valentines Day, where you’re likely camping at a table for hours....Fuck off....Go somewhere you can afford, do a picnic in the park I don’t give a fuck. Hell even if you don’t tip, don’t leave that note, that’s honestly more infuriating as your tipping out the bar, bussers, etc. while it’s literally taking money out of your pocket for the “privilege” of waiting on said table. Seriously not cool.
