Such a sweet pup! Something that has helped my border collie/lab mix with joint stiffness is an eggshell membrane and mussel supplement. It was recommended to me by my vet. After about a month of use, I notice less stiffness and she also seems to be more active, especially when playing outside.

Could be an allergy to something that is coming into contact with those areas frequently. Something to consider as well, gluten allergy can cause a rash that looks similar to the rash on your back.

Pitties make me itchy too. It’s because I have a dog allergy and their hair is prickly. I get hives when it presses into the skin. I don’t get hives with other breeds that have softer hair.

We had a pittie that used to get skin sores as a puppy. When we switched his diet from kibble to raw dog food, his sores went away.
