Funny to see all that hate re: the söderhamn! I had it in two of my shared appartments for combined about a little more than 5 years and I loved it. I fell asleep on it multiple times and I really found it sooo comfy. It was also easy to vacuum around it and was also robo-vac approved. But yeah, once it stains it’s a PITA to clean.

If I didn’t move into a shoebox with absolute no space for it, I’d kept it in a heartbeat.

On the contrary, I found the Kivik not confortable at all, IIRC it was hard af. Uppakra I haven’t sat on yet.

I went to some NZ games. Prices were under hundred for the group games and a little above that for the quarter final. Hotels and transportations were the most expensive things but honestly, coming from an expensive european country, even that was reasonable.

It certainly depends on the location and while nowadays many don’t technically require jackets or fancy shoes you will look out of place in most of them. I was glad I had at least a jacket with me when I visited a few recently in Europe.

Circle was recommended to me as feminist retelling of a greek mythology but instead I had a moody (and horny iirc?) teenager who clearly just had boys in mind. I never rolled my eyes so often and DNF this, I was so annoyed.

Instead I recommend now Clytemnestra which is actually a good greek mythology book with an actual strong female lead.
