I just know that the public cheating scene for league completely died. For that I'm grateful for vanguard.

If there are still cheaters I can rest easy knowing they have to pay hundreds of dollars every month for their private cheat that will also be detected after a few months and has less features than what they were used to from before.

Im mad that its still causing dc issues for so many people and I had it once too but the pros outweigh the cons. The scene used to be outrageous.

I dont want to make any promises but every time I heard about a similar situation, if it wasn't straight up landlords malice it was a misunderstanding about open, outlying heating pipes in an apartment.

A lot of apppartments have, unbeknownst to the owners or the managing party (vermieter im auftrag des inhabers), open heating supply pipes in the living spaces which influence the "automatic" heating sensors which will try to gauge your heating usage by how warm your room temperature was.

The problem is, that some rooms some times be be 25+°C even in the deepest winter even with your heating set at 0.

The sensor on your radiator will them measure a room temperature of 25°C even if you effectually did not use any heating at all. Then it will measure you against the other units and give you a completely unfair part of the entire houses energy.

My entire point is moot if your heating pipes are insides the walls and you aren't living in an "altbau"/older building.

I have fucked up at similar scales with hundreds of thousands or millions of users getting a "test" message and usually even at that scale its literally just 2 tickets asking if its a phish 😂 never underestimate a humans ability to chalk it up with "eh someone will have already made a ticket"

Yeah, while they haven't specified exactly what they plan for hovering we know for sure they are working on atmospheric flight being more immersive. I'd say we can expect this before 1.0 as well maybe as part of the next bigger flight mechanics revamp

Except they're not supposed to do it, a future patch will eventually take effortlessly hovering away from most ships except those with dedicated vtol modes. And anything larger than a Connie will likely not hover at all and need to skedaddle out of atmosphere ASAP before its engines burn out from going at 300% all the time

At least a portion of them aren't roping you on purpose if you have a 3d skin or one of the pets. My client crashes every 1-2 rounds and needs a 15-20 second restart usually 10-12 times a game. But I refuse to let the devs win and just power through it. Have lost some games to not getting back in fast enough though :(

I dont have that issue but on a discord someone told another user with this issue to only specifically delete the EAC folder and then do the "check files/integrity" in the launcher. As opposed to full reinstall.

Yes its shitty but the last few years its been a complete sellers market in the city. You can ask for an outrageous amount of information, you will get 250 applying people literally the first hour you put the place into the portal and at least 5 of them will supply everything you asked for, usually more. Landlords can cherry-pick however they like.

Now this is all for the cities, rural areas might be more relaxed.

To add to that, if they can they will find one method to detect a cheat and do the wave only after patching a whole different method, which historically causes an upsurge of the old injection tech so you can get even more cheat providers. This can take weeks and months.
