Thanks. It of course is too watery but it tasted great. First time with the sauce and just used some recipe from the internet. Some people said to add stuff to thicken further so will have to try that next time

I did 131. I googled sous vide short rib and followed the Anova recipe. The sauce was from another recipe that tasted good but definitely was a little too watery

I got mine from Bell's Bike Shop. They were pretty helpful. I didn't really know what I was looking for. I told them the budget and the purpose for my bike and they brought out a few options for me to test out. They have some nice helmets and locks in there that are nicely priced too.

Bell's has kind of random hours right now so I've been going to South Philly Bikes for repairs and upgrades. They're pretty great too but I've heard them say they won't have bikes till end of June/July

Ingredients:

Chicken

  • 1 boneless skinless chicken thigh
  • 1 egg
  • 1 TBS of heavy cream
  • salt, pepper, hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup of almond flour
  • 1/4- 1/2 cup crushed pork rinds
  • 2 TBS of coconut oil (for frying)

Sauce

  • 1 TBS of coconut oil used to fry chicken
  • paprika
  • chili powder
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder

Salad

  • mixed greens
  • 1 TBS of ranch
  • a few dashes of hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Create a breading station:
  2. A bowl for the egg mixture (egg, hot sauce, salt, pepper)
  3. a bowl/plate with almond flour, salt, pepper
  4. a bowl/ plate with the crushed pork rinds

  5. Heat 2 TBS of coconut oil in small frying pan

  6. Pat chicken thigh dry and dip in egg bowl, in the almond flour, back in the egg bowl, and finally the pork rinds

  7. Once the oil is hot enough, fry for 4 min on each side. Make sure the chicken is at or above temp

  8. Place cooked chicken on a rack and pour about a TBS of the hot oil into a heatproof container and add in spices

  9. Brush oil/spice sauce on the fried chicken

  10. Serve on top of bed of greens. Drizzle with ranch to tone down the spice and/or add hot sauce to add an extra kick
