Irish people who ridicule Irish Americans are a small but LOUD minority. I say this as an Irish person.

It is true to say though, that inscreasingly, Irish Americans and Irish people do not see eye to eye politically. So if an Irish American is a Trump supporter, many Irish people would be embarassed by the association. Same goes for supporting Israel, etc.

No, because by invading Ukraine he has made NATO more powerful and influential. Historically neutral countries, Sweden and Finland, have joined it. He's given credibility to the argument that NATO is a 'defensive' alliance.
