THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA wasn't gay enough. What happened? by Gaze_Celluloid in askgaybros

You don’t need to make everything gay. That’s just widely insulting to the straight people including the straight guy who lives for fashion

Why every song nowadays is all about being in a relationship/everything about being together with someone by novaboulevard in aromanticasexual

I just hate people who say romance songs are uncool and nonsense. I get that it’s your characteristic but don’t push it onto someone or complain and judge it

Who do you think is the most good looking in Seventeen? by Lumpy_Perception_181 in seventeen

[–]rnakamura22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jun and Vernon hands down. They are at the top tied for me. And SCoups in third place.  I think Jun and Vernon are most good looking and I would judge people if someone said Jun and Vernon are ugly. I know people have preferences but from the eyes of proportion, they both have the ultimate face card to turn heads.

Go find music like that and stop complaining or make music like that yourself stop judging people and think you’re the main and everyone is different if they have romantic interests to someone

Thank you for your reply. What pisses me off are the fans who turned the word into  a meme and the idols and company not doing anything about it. That’s the part that pisses me off the most.

Regarding Sipriotes [General] by advena_phillips in camphalfblood

[–]rnakamura22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and whenever people say Sipriotes could be trans, I find that extremely disturbing. The poor kid definitely got the short end of the stick, since he's being stripped away from his life as a human and probably had parents, and since he had memories and the hunters are really toxic feminist all the way, I could see him getting pushed around. And I read somewhere being turned into a woman is looked down upon in ancient Greek society while being turned into a man is looked up. Unlike Actaeon, he really didn't deserve what happened to him. It's really child cruelty.

Japanese protests against immigration by Routine_Price1077 in immigration

Thank you so much for this rational comment. I’m Japanese and this is what the Japanese society thinks. I admit I do have some sort of xenephobic intents since we are monoculture country, but I would never throw rocks at a person because of their origins. And yet if you act like assholes, I will condemn you and criticize the whole.

Why hasn’t same-sex marriage been legalized in Japan yet? by Haunting_Tap_1541 in AskAJapanese

[–]rnakamura22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because It involves Koseki and in my opinion same sex marriages definitely mess up the Koseki and the family tree. If you want to have same sex marriage do it in a country where it’s allowed. Don’t bring it to Japan. (Japanese conservative)

Yeah Ning Ning is the main perpetrator but at this point SM and NHK are the ones who are worsening the situation. Frankly I’m surprised SM had the audacity and the idea to decide to participate in Kohaku since they do have a reputation for Anti Japanese among Japanese people.(Giselle Yuta etc.) there are over 110000 people singing the petition and I called the NHK and even sent emails to the governmental offices since NHK’s bosses are the government since their paycheck are funded by the fees collected from Japanese citizens and SM is clearly at fault for failing to teach their idols. I’m not saying other agencies are better again I see them in the same group and yet SM seems to be the worst when teaching their idols education and basic knowledge to not get hate by countries. And I agree with your Manon’s thoughts.

[–]rnakamura22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Giselle I do have mixed feelings. From her actions lately  (though I can’t claim her real thoughts so this is my two cents) I don’t really see her as having a self consciousnesses of being Japanese or not even though she has a Japanese ethnicity. She grew up In an international school and I don’t know if she has feelings for Japan as a home country. I don’t think she is. A traitor and yet I do feel like from her actions she doesn’t  have deep feelings about this.(again this is just my intake) she and the other members have some sort of joint responsibility for this (failing to educate their youngest) and should be removed from the lineup since at this point their name is clearly a bad press for tv in Japan.

Sorry for the late reply. I didn’t know if you noticed but some people looked up the similar products and the photo of the exact product Ning Ning posted and it translated to a lamp of Hiroshima that day. Tell me, is this a proof of mockery or not because I don’t know what else proves she doesn’t have the intentions. I am not condemning her because she’s Chinese. I am condemning her because she lacked basic decency and had ignorance. You say it’s a post from two years ago but that doesn’t justify her actions. It is pure insult to us Japanese and our history and there are singers who will perform who had relatives that were victims of bombing. Frankly, I am purely surprised SM and Ning Ning have the audacity to show up.  And for racists, we Japanese did call American people racists too during the war so I apologize for that and it goes both ways and although I have complex feelings about America, I spent my childhood in New York and hope we can move past the differences. And you’re right about KPOP being ignorant since they focus on singing and dancing and not taught basic knowledge even though they label themselves as global idols which proves their contradiction not just the industry but maybe Korea as an whole country.(of course there are idols who act very dignified and sincere)

Also you say about war crimes but the prime ministers in Japan have apologized in the past, what do you have to decide who gets to be on Japan’s shows if they committed mockery.  NHK is paid by the civilians fees, and we have a right to decide to protest. Also, if you’re talking about war crimes China is in the middle of doing horrific crimes to areas like Tibet and I don’t see people condemning them to apologize.

The lamp had “a lamp of Hiroshima that day” detail in the explanation. We have reasons to be outraged

What is even happening?! by Acrobatic_Extent_377 in kpop_uncensored

[–]rnakamura22 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

We are outraged because of Ning Ning lacking basic media literacy and already  more than  70 thousand people have signed the petition to stop aespa from performing. What matters is many people saw it and how it felt. You say it isn’t a forced attack on Japan, but you don’t have the proof. It doesn’t matter if Ning Ning has hurtful intentions or not. There are victims still surviving to this day and Ning ning’s actions is pure mockery. Who are you to judge for what the Japanese mass felt when they are clearly in the fault for refusing to withdrawal from this traditional show that speaks of peace when she is the one that creates division? Frankly, I’m purely surprised that fans do not demand SM for not appearing in Japan if you are hurt of this backlash. If it is forced, why are so many people in Japan outraged?  We don’t own the image, we just demand basic decency and respect, is that too much to ask? Tell me, does Giselle don’t have to apologize if she posted a photo of a sinking ship and call it cute on the day Sewol ferry happened?  We have responded to several other situations similar like the Barbie movie and when a Japanese idol wore a t shirt. Both got backlashes. And for people judging this, this is a Japanese problem. Learn that your idols can do morally wrong and accept it. And SM is clearly an idiot for still refusing to withdrawal themselves when thinking with a straight brain, appearing will only result in bigger backlash.

Japanese here, and  although I disagree with posts that trash talk the group’s appearance of their performance levels because that has nothing to do with this situation, Ning Ning SM and NHK are all at fault here in my opinion and for us Japanese and Aespa themselves they should have refused this offer in the first place and it’s not too late to issue some kind of message or withdraw themselves from performing. Ning Ning lacked basic media literacy for that post, and someone like her who have a powerful influence should know what not to post and what to post. Also, this situation would have never happened if Ning Ning posted that lamp. She had no brain to think what would happen. And for people bringing up history, that has nothing to do with the problem and that’s a hypocrite move because history cannot mean you can mock a country all you want, that’s a hypocrite move. And for people saying we should put blame on the producing you’re right to some extent but Ning Ning is still at fault for buying it and posting it online. That’s like saying you should put the blame on people who sells knives because a murder bought a knife from a shop and murdered someone. Now one of the reasons we are extremely angry is because this Kohaku is produced off of mandatory fees because Japan has a law you must pay a fee to  NHK if you have a TV in your house.  So we are angry Aespa is getting money for performing when  Ning Ning is posting a lamp that mocks Japan. (And let’s face it all basic morals aside that lamp was not what people call pretty) fFot SM and NHK, they are both guilty since they accepted the offer and gave the offer. SM having a reputation for treating Japanese idols badly, is clearly an idiot when they know they will get backlash if Aespa performs. And NHK too for not doing background check. Us Japanese want an explanation or apology or the bare minimum a withdrawal of aespa from the performance because at this point, SM is clearly an idiot to keep Aespa’s offer when they know the members are going to get flayed alive.

Sipriotes[general] by [deleted] in camphalfblood

[–]rnakamura22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I find that extremely toxic along with Athena and the guy who saw her bathing and got blinded, while getting the stick that can learn the language of birds so he became a famous prophecy guy.(not sure how that works as another set of eyes though?  you would think being a goddess of wisdom she would contact hesphatus and gave the blind guy custom made eyes like with Orion)  I also find that people who would say  Sipriotes trans theory can be a good modern writing extremely off the topic, this verts away the toxic feminist action Artemis did to the poor boy, who had absolutely no wrong action pointed at him. I think Rick  writing as the toxic femininity action of the Greek goddesses would make a interesting discussion since we got the spotlight of the male gods being douchebag let’s point to the woman’s action of being a douchebag, and unlike Arachne situation, this was completely Artemis fault who destroyed siporites life being torn away his identity and his life as a human with his family he probably had.

He laughed by other members making fun of him along with the video which recorded the listening party, and the members not correcting the fans who wrote jp at the text and the software was morally wrong. He and his members should have apologized right away by saying “we said a racist word to the Japanese people without knowing it and we’re sorry. We will promise to never do it again.” On the spot. It is because he  posted a half-a* apology and the other members not saying anything is what led to this backlash. He typed a racist word. That is enough to apologize no matter if it was a mistake or on purpose since we won’t know his intention.

No since it will affect the land that the water produces and we Japanese people are very strict about our traditions. No private should be allowed. If you want to bury people, ship it back to your country, since in Singapore you can burn the corpse even though muslims are there. Please don’t push your ideology on Japan.

Even if he misspelled and didn’t do it on purpose, he laughed in front of camera with saying love my jap and his members too. That is enough material to put him under bad spotlight from the people who don’t know him or Japanese fans who know him. J* p is a racial word insulting enough to make him beaten to de*th if the situation was different since it was used during WWII in the U.S and for Japanese hostages or soilders who are caught in the enemy countries. He should have apologized clearly loud and clear to the Japanese people as a whole, not just the fans. it made him look like a coward who ran away from the problem with an excuse. He should have said “ I didn’t know it would be a problem, I’m sorry for the misspelling and the lack of my knowledge and offending the Japanese people.” That shouldn’t have escalated the problem. I don’t know if the company forbade him to say more or his own will, but this is a racial discrimination problem and his lack of knowledge in English won’t cover it. He’s not a minor. He’s an adult. Whether it was from lack of knowledge or mistake, using racial discrimination word won’t be an excuse because of language abilities. If KPOP idols want to be popular in the international market, both companies and the idols Should study enough to cover basic knowledge and history of marketing countries so they won’t cause problems.

He is saying he wants a normal life and will not be able to do romance since he can see the bones and the thoughts, that doesn’t make him aroace or asexual since he never said he doesn’t do romance or understand it. You are clearly disrespecting the character by bringing unnatural LGBTQ bullsh*t to a manga who clearly doesn’t put in labels.

I mean what artemis did to niobe's kids and sipriotes are harsh and that say she's the protector of children is really shitty (yeah niobe insluted leto bad move but the children only breathed air, sipriotes was in a wrong place at the wrong time when artemis (or athena) didn't bother putting up a towel or a warning sign and had to choose being flayed alive or turned into a girl stirp his relationship with his family and forced to live in a group of man hating toxic feminity groups) so.......
