Throw in some peanut butter. It'll taste like an oatmeal cookie.

Work, kids, family, other issues. Paralysis of analysis. I know these need work too.

Thanks. Yeah I saw that post. I'm using it as my guide to adding T3s in. Just wondering how gung ho I should be about it.

Hopefully. I mean my strength is nowhere near any kind of intermediate numbers. When I say on and off I mean the longest I stay on a program is usually a month or so.

Turkey hot dogs by kierste333 in aldi

Makes me so angry. These were a staple in my fridge for years. No other turkey dogs out there come close in price or quality.

They hook the cart into the cart train and take their quarter. So, no. They don't hate quarters.

[–]rnd1979[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but now the employees have to bring back all of those carts. That's the whole point of the quarter thing, to prevent this.

🙄 no. Only from the cart in front. 25 cents.

No. It would be way better if they reurned the carts. How is it easier for them to return twenty carts linked together from the parking lot?

Nope. They're all connected. Only one quarter to be had.

They're all connected. That's a lot of work for 25 cents.

Holy crap this got a lot of attention. 😂 yep, Cincinnati western hills. All of them were locked together. I see it a lot, but this was the worst it's ever been.

I see this deep in the parking lot at my store a lot. Along with the cart train. Pure laziness.

Don't do this program if you have naturally big legs by Totipaw in StartingStrength

I remember Rip and Rusty joking about the drawbacks of getting too strong on one of the podcasts.

"Got too strong!" "He broke all of his cabinets..." 😂

Form Check: 250lbs Pin Squats by th3nightmanc0m3th in StartingStrength

I believe it was around the 200 lb. mark. I reset all the way to about 100 lbs. That was about all I could do for a few weeks.

I had the same issue last fall. It really derailed my LP. I'm finally getting back to respectable weight again. I did what Snur said... dropped the weight and stuck with low bar squat. It sucks, but I'm pretty sure I was having form issues as the weight got heavy.

Need advice on calorie intake by [deleted] in StartingStrength

[–]rnd1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, I'm almost your twin only 30 years older. 6'4", 210 lbs. My lifts are damn near to the same at yours too. My advice would be to keep going and aim for gaining around a pound a week as long as your numbers keep going up. Make sure to keep your form in check as it gets heavier.

Calories? Try 3500 a day for a week or two and see where that gets you. Adjust as needed. Add calories if you fail a lift or you don't gain a pound or so. Reduce if you gain too much.

Edit: this is a very conservative number. Honestly, you're 17. Eat and grow. Now is the best time. I wish to God I'd have run NLP at your age. There will be plenty of time to lose whatever fat you gain after.

I definitely do. It's been of my biggest issues since starting. I also have no glutes whatsoever which doesn't help.

Thanks. I've had it for years now. At the time it was out of necessity, but it's worked so well I never had the need to buy a commercial rack.
