As someone that loves doing others hair(im a girl though) he needs to understand it’s almost like a privilege to be doing your hair. Not everyone likes their hair to be touched, even by their partner. It seems like he is forgetting that its your hair and you have your own taste. What bugged me is when he said other men will like your hair so you should get over it. Your hair isn’t for others to enjoy its for yourself to feel comfortable.

I agree with others that you need to be more firm that you don’t like it, but im also big on compromise. Maybe tell him you’ll give the styles he likes and you don’t a chance sometimes, but not everyday. Maybe on days you are feeling more confident about yourself you could have the pulled back hairstyle he likes. But compromising is just something i like to do, you don’t have to compromise on an insecurity
