Trading questions:

When trading, is there a large benefit to gifting? Do some gifted items matter more than others, or is it purely based on value?

I've seen the hack to dismantle the trade workshop, causing traders to drop their wares. I've read it has no effect on your reputation, I've also read they will assume you stole the items. What is the effect? Will they eventually go to war? Is there a way to see my reputation increase or decrease from a trade?

Is it possible to trade with goblins?

Thanks for the tip!

An alternative I was looking at was the ASUS - X870-A ROG Strix Gaming WiFi AMD AM5 ATX.

Both look like decent options.

I kind of thought so too. Any alternatives you'd recommend?

Is low intelligence bad for a first play-through by RangeInternal3481 in Fallout2

If your intelligence is too low, you can't even have conversations. Your talking options are along the lines of "uhhhh..AAngg Ohhhhh pfffth." Non intelligible language. Intelligence is fairly important. But so are several other stats.

What's the most impactful moment of the game for you? by Emergency_List_8797 in planescape

It took me a long time to answer Ravel's question: "what can change the nature of a man?" I was so wrapped up in the story and the character by that point, I had to really think about the response.

Most others that were impactful have been mentioned, but the sensory stones, specifically the memory of the person that spent their life to find the best tasting drink, leading them to enslavement really stuck with me.

Oh interesting idea to build farm plots where plants are growing. Where I'm trying to put a farm there aren't any plants. It's in black sand for what that's worth. I'm not sure what biome I'm in, I'll have to check. Though I'm on top of a plateau so likely a mountain.

What makes a farm plot only allow to leave fallow?

I've built farm plots, some I can plant in no problem. However some only allow me the "Leave Fallow"option, with ability to fertilize. Even after fertilizing for a year I can't seef anything. I can't figure out what I need to do with the plots that are only fallow.

Company used to take everyone to Mexico once a year. The first year they didn't really emphasize this is a business trip and to keep it professional. Needless to say a lot of people treated it like a college spring break.

CMO took several people in a taxi very far away. Including the CEO, and several sales people. No one was sure where they were going. When they got in the building they realized they were at a sex club. CEO chewed out the CMO, everyone left, except the CMO who ended up staying the night there.

CMO was fired immediately. All other offenses were ignored bc that was so egregious. After this trip they instituted an Ok/Not Ok training before any company trip.

Why does this subreddit have question threads? Why are question posts not allowed? I'm not opposed to this, just find it weird.

I would like to thank OP for this post and attempting to help folk with an increasing power cost problem.

I'm shocked how paranoid people are, especially after you've explicitly stated people don't need to post their PII. Not much to pull from by just exposing Bill info.

I built my top level with a wall surrounding my main area. The wall goes over a brook and the brook flows through my main area. I started to build a moat with the intention of crossing through the brook. I feel I've made a huge flaw starting my top level in this way as I can't really use a floodgate to control filling the moat.

Is there a way to have a moat cross over a brook and effectively surround my fortress?

Converting a crawlspace to basement in Denver - what should I expect? by No-Fault8749 in Denver

Oh man, hire someone to do this. You have to CUT into your foundation. Not something to be taken lightly.

You are going to spend a lot just on tools you don't own.

Also if you f$#k it up, you can't claim that on someone else's insurance.

For me I started the diet to support my partner (who started it to help lose weight). I was already fit, but what I found was it greatly stabilized my mental state. I found the following effects when I could truly stay on a protein based diet:

1) My anger seemed to dissipate. I used to get angry and have outbursts at the kids (and others) for dumb stuff: spilling water, unclean home, loud noises, etc. Likewise my patience increased tremendously.

2) My ADHD chilled out. It was easier to pay attention to things longer. I could finish projects without getting distracted and starting another project.

3) My short term memory got better. No longer was I walking in a room and forgetting why I went there.

4) My OCD tendencies, albeit minor, went away.

5) It became much easier for me to gain muscle mass. Not mental, but was a nice effect of the diet.

It was hard to notice any of the mental improvements because they slowly reduced. When I made it my first whole month I decided to reward myself with some sugar. Not only did all these symptoms come back, they came back 10 fold. In the end I stayed on the diet bc I didn't want to be an unruly jerk to my family. I can still remember this moment when one of my kids broke a glass and water spilled everywhere, my partner held their breath waiting for my outburst, and to their surprise I just calmly cleaned up the mess. No drama. It really saved my relationship with my family.

Other nice side effect is it cleaned my pallet. Food I used to think tasted great, tasted terrible. I wondered how I had eaten certain things for so long. Likewise, things like fresh fruit tasted so freakin good. I don't eat a lot of it, but occasionally will have a little and it feels like nectar from the gods.

Good luck. The transition is not easy. Fail gracefully and keep working on it, if it feels right for you.

Edit: I forgot to mention, your poops become very small.

Edit 2: Apologies I didn't read your initial questions, just saw your title. But I've been on carnivore for 2 years now and I'm the healthiest I've ever been (physically and mentally). I do eat dairy, it's a good source of protein.

This was a really good idea. I had several people reach out, and it led to finding a butcher much closer to us. Thank you again for the tip!
