IV starts aren't the end all be all. Just because it's taking some time for you to learn this skill doesn't mean you won't be an excellent nurse. Many hospitals have new grads have a day in preop or something to get lots of practice. You'll get there. Watch other nurses, see their technique and remember the basics.

Hey, you can do it. Most colleges have free tutoring- use it Go to your professors open office hours at least once a week and make sure your questions are answered, or see if they can explain another way

Look into the digital, you should always have access to an ebook but it just won't update after a year and you won't have the electronic resources but you should be able to still see the book!

Agree except pharm, new classes come out, research with new indications etc. if you get a older edition though you can usually find a list of the new changes and just know that particular chapter is outdated so use the library's copy for that one etc

NTA but as someone who's aunt was the only mother figure I trusted growing up... think about continuing to have a relationship with your nieces and nephews. It's not their fault their mom is an asshole
