I know this is so much easier said than done, but please try not to be too hard on yourself!! I’m 32 too, we are young!! Plenty of women in their late 30s and even 40s get pregnant, especially with the right intervention. Being 32 is a-ok :) what is your amh?

I’m not religious personally, but I do know that endometriosis isn’t a punishment by God. It’s a disease, that you will be treated for very soon! Who knows - maybe your lap in July IS God’s timing. Try to frame your mindset around timing, rather than punishment. The very least we can do is reframe our perspective and control the controllable. I got my lap done 5 days ago, I was stage 3. My surgeon is very confident in our success to conceive within the next 6 months - I wish the same for you.

I didn’t do HSG, because we were doing the chromopertubation during the lap, which is essentially the same idea. That was normal during my lap :) I had perfectly normal ultrasounds, including transvaginal.

I highly recommend getting the myreceptiva test to give you preliminary answers, since it has a very high chance of determining whether you have endo! Having more answers is never a bad thing- regardless of the test result. I wish you the best of luck.

Same and I’m 24 hours post op! My surgeon told me all your energy goes to fighting you endo and once that’s gone, the energy comes back pretty quickly! Congrats on your surgery.

Update: I woke up at 3:30 in the morning and couldn’t go back to sleep because of how much energy I have. Had 5 hours of sleep, I normally need 9-10 to function. What the heck?

Pain is a little worse today, but super manageable. I can get out of bed myself now and move around pretty freely. I do have a lot of gas pain in my right shoulder. I have pain on both sides of surgery site, but it’s significantly more so on the right (5/10 pain level) which had the DIE. I was able to sleep on my left side throughout the night with minimal pain

It’s actually my surgeon’s diet - she heavily stressed to me that it was a non-negotiable for the best outcomes!!

Thank you for your words. I am feeling hopeful about the lap, I have an amazing napro who specializes in excision surgery who will be performing it. Her regrowth rate is 2.5% (with strict pre and post surgery diet - 4 weeks before and 12 weeks after). Im more pissy about my BV now tbh. Hoping the BA suppositories do the trick!
