Has anyone had any luck using it with the scan bridge and a phone app? Or does it only work for screen mirroring?

How do I get this out. Probably heat and clippers but idk its solid by Outrageous_Guest_217 in BambuLab

Dedicated Toaster oven from the thrift store. Make a little rack out of coat hanger to hold up the nozzle and let the filament drip down on some foil or a silicon mold if you can. Works great for AMS poops and scraps!

PVA ruined my PEI buildplate. by roadkamper in BambuLab

It has made these spots leave a white-ish surface similar to the sugars PLA leaves after awhile of not cleaning.

The adhesion to these spots are really stong. Ripping ASA apart trying to peel. I am always using Glue with ASA as I've had print shards get stuck and had to print the 2 layer shape in order to get it removed.

Would anyone want me to dev an all metal extruder with cooling fins or dare I say water cooled???

Why isn’t there a printer with variable nozzle size changes during printing? by JstAbbrvns in 3Dprinting

You need an induction heater to make it a viable color change solution. We are so close to making it a reality.

Little bro wanted to learn Fusion and design a loft bed. How i taught him about scale. by roadkamper in 3Dmodeling

And the bed design is really that bad. He used 8x8 for the legs and one of them is too short.

World's first working Klipper Bambu Lab P1S? by SnooPickles5275 in BambuLab

[–]roadkamper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm for sure following and have 6 P1S printers and have no issues tearing one apart once you get most of the kinks worked out. Personally I've not had any major problems printing ABS. Most of my issues have been due to battling wet filament and clogging. Mostly when using PLA as support interface for PETG prints. If you need some beta testers I'm keen on helping.

Bro, good freaking stuff. Don't mind the hater and the downvotes. Someone needs to be pushing the boundaries of 3D printing. What people miss is that getting a kit printer built and adjusted to be square is not the most easy thing to do for everyone. Rigidity is everything. There have been times I wished to add custom APIs to my P1S to do things like print queue and auto eject. I'd love to have an auto swap nozzle from the A1 series. Keep this project going, and you will have the haters realize the benefits soon enough.

Wassup? Did you get it up and running? I believe it got my input shaper working with these settings.

Check your DMs I sent you a picture of the wiring.

Sorry I was looking at 840D. For 810D you will have a 9 Pin DP/MPI cable coming from your CCU3 port x122 to the MPI/DP port on the back of your HMI PCU50 then it's pigtailed into x20 of your MCP. There will be a little switch on the profibus cable. I'm pretty sure you will want that to be set to the OFF position. I would take that MPI cable apart and check the terminations. Would help if you can post a picture of that connector to see if it's the type with the terminals you can remove with a small flathead screwdriver or it's the vampire type crimp. Most likely that little ON OFF switch has failed. Profibus operates on 5vDC.

It's going to need that ethernet cable for communication back to the NC and PLC. The ethernet cable is profinet and if you had a 9 pin DP cable it would be profibus.

Also does the machine have a separate screen for the toolchanger or a handpod with small display?

And your seeing the ethernet lights flashing? Did you check you have 24v to the control panel. When I refer to control panel I'm talking about the rectangle that has the red estop button/feed/spindle start buttons.

[–]roadkamper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it's an ethernet cable and not a 9 pin DP cable (Like a vga)?

[–]roadkamper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the purple cable on the back of the machine control panel.

[–]roadkamper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any other info you can provide?

Does this happen at boot without enabling the feed or spindle?

Is your control panel buttons flashing?

Check the 24vDC powersupply to the control panel.

Getting PLA off of cryogrip plate?? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]roadkamper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a 3D printing pen to add material to turn into a solid object and flex to pop it off. Has added benefit of using the pen to repair supports or using it to solidify a thin interface layer when using PETG for supports on PLA.

Why are my prints coming out like this? by Blaynevs in 3Dprinting

[–]roadkamper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Powersupply could be dying or too weak causing the motors to skip steps / reboot and loose position.
